Oh no, I totally forgot Shinki were coming back, better throw these on the collection backlog. The new body joints are a fine improvement.

    Lol, got mine on Thursday.
I ordered from 3rd party seller on Amazon Japan and they sent me the Kotobukiya online shop version with some bonus.
It's a piece of plastic to be used for Koto display stand. I wouldn't pay extra for it but it's still a nice gift.

Ugh, gotta wait until May/June for Strarf ><

Gotta say, the compatibility parts they come with are very appreciated. Busou Shinki stands are slightly more common that insanity in Florida in my house, so having adaptors to be able to use them with standard 3 mm plug holds is a godsend, especially since the Shinki stands tend to be much more rugged and sturdy than most other stands I have.

Well, she's definitely a model kit, not a figure. So she doesn't quite have the weight or solidity that a Konami Busou Shinki has. That being said, she feels significantly more robust than the other Megami Device girls. The physical design takes the best parts of the MMS body, adds what Kotobukyia has figured out, fixes some stuff from the originals. it trades the 'toy' nature of Konami's figures for increased detail and poseability, flat out does better with the accessories (Except for the stand, but it includes adaptors so you can use your old Konami Stands with them) and just feels a bit more grown up.

That said, she comes with waterslide decals. And until I can get some decal setter, I ain't applying them. It's terribly dry where it live, and too many waterslides that seemed fine have curled up and died because of it.

good to know... because i have the OG megamis (one wism and the first asras) and the cheese-golden gaogaigar girl and while they are good, they are more delicate than i expected, even for a model kit...

funny enough, as much is love my Arnval Tranche (and og arnval turned into tsugaru), i like the clean look of koto-arnval, so i wont even bother with the decals (and i'm bad at working with that stuff anyway) :D
