Who are these Shinkis?

 

Those are the first four 'Light Armour' Shinki, to be released some time in the future -- They'll probably be cheaper than normal shinki as they have less stuff, and might be the spiritual successor to the EX-sets (as those don't seem to be coming out anymore -- Wave 9 only had EX-Plus Zel and Wave 10 doesn't have anything at all so far).

From left to right, they are type Command Angel, Succubus, Sister and Nurse. Official name romanizations are unknown as of yet, but Command Angel is something like 'Werkstra', Succubus is something like 'Varona'.

 

They did release LoD toys. Don't know who did it, but I know they are out there.

Umm, Paint.net is a small, free, good photo editing tool.

 

Photoediting isn't my problem, I actually pretty good. The problem is that Photoshop likes to same huge files, and it's a struggle to get the size under 40Kb to put on the boards.

 

Right. Doesn't Photoshop have this slider to adjust the quality/size ratio of jpeg compression? I've never had any size or artifact problems when putting it to 95% quality (I use Paint.net or ACDSee editor).

MS Paint has notoriously awful jpeg compression -- terrible quality and not even very small at times. And you can't adjust it either. Look what Paint does to my sig: (urgh!)

I think it could work considering Shinki fans have no official place to congregate, but it would need time to catch on. It would certainly be nice for organizing information rather than being forced to surf through this gigantic thread to find anything.

 

I think it would be a good idea too, I mean we have stuff thrown around this board, images of future shinki's game images, people asking for help, pics of everyone's personal collection. Each of these things could have their own sub topic. And yeah, it woud take a while to start up, but it would probably work out in the end.

Quick question though... Who here has any experience in PHP and MySQL code?

 

Photoshop has a slider, it just makes the image jaggy when it's small enough to fit. And then to top that off, the filesize this is makes is bigger than the filesize it says it is going to be. So, Photoshop lies to me.

EDIT: Okay, it's a GIF now. That solved it this time.

 

Me... Major MySQL stuff I can't do but have the ear of someone who can, PHP, HTML etc... no problem whatsoever, I've been doing HTML since 93, PHP for 5-6 years now...

Well, here's the basic setup... Here's what we need:

A) A domain name. busoushinki.com is not taken but I don't really want Konami sending me a cease & desist letter so I think we should come up with something else. I'll buy it and host it if we come to a consensus.

B) Other forum categories that we want to put up there.

C) Once the framework is laid down I'll tap some willing people to figure out what theme we want for the look of the forums. I'm one to concentrate on the essentials before the looks though.
