Sorry, I was asking about the base figure, the regular robot mode, not any of his powered up modes.

Lol, all I could find is one pic of like "hey look how good the chrome is, let me cover it up with super mode parts"

I’ve been rewatching the show and, man, it totally brings me back twenty years. I still remember being excited for a new show, and interested to see where they’d go with a reboot, rather than continuing G1 - Beast Wars - Beast Machines.

13-year-old me definitely dug the show though. I really enjoyed it for what it was. And it obviously made SOME impression on me, because, despite not having rewatched it THAT much, there’s still a lot of it that I remember quite vividly.

The toy line was great. Loved how it brought molds from every preceding line as well as some outstanding new molds. I also loved how show-accurate they were… for the most part. The bullet trains definitely should’ve been bigger, and of course the Spychangers and the Decepticons are bricks, since they’re taken from G1.

Definitely got the itch to break them out and fiddle with them a bit.

Robots in Disguise was my first Transformers series when I was 5. Got so many of the toys for birthdays & x-mases, my mom taped the 2nd half of the show on video cassette, & I still have all the figures and cassettes I had then. Thanks to comic-cons & eBay I finally completed the cast (including Brave Maximus, excluding super autobot bros) last year!

Super(Leader class) Optimus is a very top-heavy and ungainly figure to pose, but a phenominal toy with Huge fire truck mode, excellent paintwork/chroming, solid plastic, diverse and dynamic lights and sounds, and many super mode features!

I got the Spy Changer(core size) & Titanium(deluxe size) versions too.

Titanium Robots in Disguise Optimus is a must have for RID fans and a great companion piece for the Spy Changers and others as it's more in scale with them and the ladder/water cannon is not at all cumbersome unlike the super's one.

I tried looking a while back and learned that due to some bizarre licensing issue it basically isn't available anywhere to watch legitimately. So either buying a grey market copy or streaming it from random youtube uploads are the only options.

Shapeways has tires for Prime. Not super cheap for a full set, but good quality and they blend in well, only lacking the brand stamping of the originals.
