School starts back tomorrow. I can't stand being educated about the world around me. Ignorance is so cool.
It's kind of like the more you know, the less you like the world. I'd feel bad for Nixon if he were still alive. Given the events that have transpired since 1990, his paranoia would have risen so high, even Red Alert would be embarrassed.

There are plenty of opportunities out there that don't require a college degree. I went to trade school before I ever considered college. Working in a trade is hard but fulfilling work.

I can't escape that Frozen song. No matter where I go, that song plays and it ends up stuck in my head.

    ^^ its a pretty good song ^^

^^ Actually I had a friend that went to Devry way back when finished and than transferred over to college, I think Rutgers to get the computer programming degree ^^

He swore by it and if he had to go back, he'll do the same route over again.

He said the best thing that ever happened to him

There is some truth in that, its more disgust than anything else, but I can relate to that realization about the world around us

It is very difficult to raise a child with significant special needs, when we don't have much in the way of support or help from family or friends.

    Lots of unsolicited advice though.

Such is the burden of children, once they fall out they are yours to keep.

But you give a damn, so that is a good thing. Kids are a pain in the ass period special needs or not. You just keep on trucking.

I feel people who give unsolicited advice, unless its an honest to God panacea, should be prepared to have to solicit medical help. If you know what I mean :p

What you said about ignorance being cool is unfortunately quite true in my town; no one really gets me because I act as though I were born in the 20th century. Despite being born in '01, I think I would've fared better as a teen in the 80's, especially if time travel existed, since school would probably be easier and I would already be with the times.

I've been watching a lot of the old Cartoon Cartoons that used to be on Cartoon Network, and it makes me really wish that Cartoon Network should at the very least bring back Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, kinda like what Nickelodeon is doing with their "90s Are All That" segment.

No, I'm pretty sure the reason that text is blue is because it's "sarcasm".

Which I personally think is the dumbest thing ever conceived because nobody actually fucking does that anywhere other than this board and every single time I have asked for proof of it being a thing, I have never, ever, gotten any response, thus proving it's entirely bullshit.

I've seen it done over at the Escapist, though they tended towards pink text rather than blue for sarcasm due to Mods using blue as a 'Mod Voice'. Pink and in italics if they felt fancy.

I wish disney would do the same, even boomerang doesn't have the old cartoons anymore with the exception of a few

Just had my nephew here for Spring Break, he loves Boomerang!... he likes all the older cartoons, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Flintstones, Johnny Test, Scooby Doo.... etc. When he first came to stay with me Boomerang was showing the original Teen Titans series, now it's Teen Titans Go!
There's so many older series they could air, wish they'd bring others back for him to see for the first time too.... (if he hasn't seen them on YT yet)

Horrible day. I have no motivation right now for anything, among other things.
My depression is probably back as well.

I hate math, it leaves me with a terrible migraine and my back hurts too as it causes me to tense up my body.
