These custom figures were inspired by many people dear to my spark. No matter who you are, no matter how you ~Transform And Roll Out~ in life, I will always be there for you, no matter the cost.

So, just parts-swaps between three figures?
    Was any custom work done?

I didn't want to spend the money on Artfire because it would not have added colors across all the parts.

How did you swap the cranes/ladder? Aren't those connected by a huge flat hat pin? (I need to check mine when I'm back home)

Doesn't that count as customizing, too? I mean, parts on these figures have been changed in some way.

Yep, that counts as customizing. Cool figures, gives them a wacky KO vibe

20231031_111724.jpg The base plate hinge assembly will move up enough to where you can slide out the crane peg you just have to be careful.

Parts-swapping is similarly looked at as giving a figure a gun from another figure, or attaching something random to a 5mm port. Not a custom, more of a fan mode.
Still, in this case the swapping looks good and essentially creates new characters.

Guess you've never heard of a lbc (lazy bastard custom) custom before. It's a term for swapping parts like this. Very much still considered a custom.

Of course, if this is not considered some kind of custom, this thread can move. I have no problem if I am wrong. Was not trying to be lazy, just appropriate for the chatacters' back story I was going for.

Nope, never heard of that. Also never personally considered parts-swapping as customization.

    Nah, you're good.

    Subjective.
I don't want to suggest putting limitations on people's creativity. I just know some have argued that putting a CW hand on a random 5mm port was a custom, but something like this is a lot more work and quite fun to look at.

Every time I mess with this mold I want to throw it at John Warden's head. WHY are there no screws?! Why are they all rivets? It makes me SO angry!

Yeah, I'm not a fan. It all looks pretty incohesive and none of them fit together.

That's fun. Reminds me of swapping GIJoe limbs around to make my own Frankenstein guys.

Part’s swapping and kitbashing is some of the oldest ‘customising’ out there.
Not all customs need a coat of paint, and this is arguably a lot more than utilising 5mm ports anyway

...kinda reminds me, how easy/hard is it to do with the Classified figures? I've been meaning to make my Donut Steel OC "Mongoose" out of Buzzer and Snake-Eyes again...

I mean, most of my customs for years were head swaps and ToyHax decals, same for many of the people on these boards...not everyone can afford to 3D print components, after all (especially with the prices of Generations figures these days, GEEEZ...), even if Craftcloud's been pretty reasonably priced recently.

And back to the original topic, these are wonderful, especially because of the personal connection. I look forward to more!

About as easy as Marvel Legends.
