    I was very much the generation that loved McFarlane's and Larsen's and J. Scott Campbell's "flashy" Spidey, but I've always LOVED that cover!! Man, Sal Buscema draws such a clean Spider-Man!

    I also really like the big bold art of JR JR on Spider-Man!

    I loved how creepy Ryan Stegman's Superior Spider-Man looked. Weird physicality, gangly limbs and tense musculature - nothing about Stegman's rendition looks relaxed, he makes Peter Parktopus look tense and always on-edge

    The irregular web design on the mask is a detail I always get a kick out of.

    Look again. You can see the point of impact is about mid-abs. The impact lines are what throw it off.
