Oh lord. Seeing those "young" versions of Donald, Mickey, and Goofy is awful. Good god, just look at the emo bangs on Mickey!! Reminds me of WB's ill-fated attempt to make Bugs Bunny more "hip."

You mean bugs great grandson. That shows first season was odd. Full action show with made up bad buys that could be in batman beyond.

Second season it goes all looney tunes with all the bad guys or guest stars classic toons like porky, wile or marvins grandkids. Show got better. (but still strange)

 

I never actually saw the show that used that design. I just saw the video someone made called "Buzzed Bunny." It made me laugh.

Fun timing with the last few posts since I've been listening to random episodes of a podcast covering Wizard magazine, so revisiting a lot of the Wildstorm and Ultraverse era (rest in peace Jason Pearson).

 

Don't ever break kayfabe in front of the genpop!

So a friend gave me several Ultraverse books for my birthday last month, and unbeknownst to hime he had given me an almost complete Hardcase run. I wound up missing 11, 13, 15, and 23-26. Later my family was shopping in Half Priced Books and found several Ultraverse back issues under the "U"s. Because of the list above, THIS issue became a classic to me because it was amongst those back issues...

 

I'd like to see Marvel deal with the Burroughs Estate so they can at least reprint that short lived Barsoom series as collections.
