Pedro has no people skills. He needs to be behind the scenes and someone else do the interviews. You just kind of want to SMACK him.

I'm sure a lot of things have changed since then, as City Commander was made before the 3P market exploded. Have you worked with more than 1 3P?

I didn't say I was only in the 3P scene "back then", but I know the behind the scene details since way back then, to current stuff. :p

So finished watching the whole thing, really enjoyed it.

Just yeah, needed way less of the male rosie o donnell interrupting every 5 seconds and more of the guest. The other hosts were actually pretty on point too, only really speaking when they had a relevant question to ask or making intelligent conversation.

The 10 minute tangent where he was trying to figure out where to get a replacement hose and briefcase for a FP toy that came out 3 years ago was pretty humorous though. GUYS ITS 2016 AND I MISSED A PART IN THE MAIL SOME 36 MONTHS AGO WHERE I GET IT NOW? :lol

That had me rolling pretty hard.

I can see why Pedro would be so excited by all the 3rd party information Chris is sharing, but man do his constant interruptions make this hard to watch. I know it can be challenging to have a naturally flowing conversation over skype/google chat, but watching some parts of this felt like trying to sit through a movie on Netflix where the buffer keeps resetting every 5 seconds. Chris had so many stories sidetracked/interrupted that seemed way more interesting than whatever Pedro was putting out there, which is too bad.

I hope in the future there is more consideration given to lining up a series of meaningful questions and then giving the guest the opportunity to elaborate without interruption. I'll be keeping an eye on their future content!

Those of you who don't want to watch the interview because of Pedro being annoying, I can write a transcript of the major points, and post it here, if you like. I type very quickly so it wouldn't take too long to cover the major points. I mean, if Chris Sterett is OK with that?

Interesting insights into that world. Some of the stories. Don't really get a sense it is totally evil, nothing really damning, but there are diffirent forces at play, one of them is monopolisation.

Pedro is not annoying i find, he does keep chris mostly from going off on long tangents to answer the question mostly. It's fine just watch it and chill out.

Legend of Dr Wu is enhanced, he sounds very cool. Don't have anything of his but appreciate he offers something different each time.

I think Koboyashi said he spent a lot of time thinking of how he would do a UM if given the chance. That and the fact that Hasui wanted to do a white prime version of UM suggests that Koboyashi decided to go his own way with at least UM. And if it's true for UM my guess is it's true for for tracks and ironhide. The only one I'm not sure about is SW, since TB77 mentioned that mold had been sitting on the shelf for a long time and they only now decided to release it. It's possible Koboyashi only contributed to aesthetics for that one, but left the original design as is.

My guess is we'd all love to see Hasui's original designs after hearing this podcast. A 2015 of Hasui designed UM, Bruticus, and Galvatron. What a year it could have been...
