I don't think Loud House is really that popular and I thought that was on Cartoon Network? Anyway... Nickelodeon has been known to cancel shows regardless of how popular they are. Invader Zim... and keep other shows running that no one actually watches. Angela Andiconda... so it's possible even if these spin offs fail Nick will continue producing them anyway because they have a long history of making decisions that don't make any sense. They even had a toy line full of figures that didn't really need toys but rejected the idea of doing a Danny Phantom toy line which the animator weirdly made the show to sell a toy line that only produced one figure before getting cancelled. It's a wanted Nickelodeon even stays in business at all.
It is popular, trust me you are talking to someone is that part of the fandom and being someone that also follows the cartoon community, i've seen how popular its gotten. its on its 5th season, it got a spin-off, its getting a movie on netflix, has a bunch of comics, has alot of merchandise. These days Nickelodeon would not give this love and attention if the show wasnt doing SpongeBob numbers. Granted its not up there as SpongeBob in terms of being a glboal phenomeon, but its doing well at Nick to warrant this love from them But yeah Nickelodeon is no stranger to trying to kill several shows as you pointed out, even Butch Hartman on his youtube channel talked about Nick wanting to kill Fairly OddParents several times because it wasnt doing as well as the Sponge
Yeah man just keep squeezing Hillenburg's work for all it's worth, how many spin-offs is this now? Two? Three?
If you liked the movie, or the game, I'm sure you'll get a kick out of those novels. They've even released this really nice colored versions of the originals.
I’ve seen them in the bookstore. They are definitely the ones I want to pick up. But that’s a subject for another thread
Not surprisingly it’s getting a season 2 https://www.animationmagazine.net/t...5e9bQHkYfiPjg5nZqxRAP_qyMLR3uXZPI_cCHI02eBoJo
