Yes I know...I was trying for a slightly orangish yellow, and just got orange. It bugged the crap outta me at first, but I just decided to convince myself that it is based entirely off the toy not the toon. That at least allowed me to pretend it didn't still irk me.
After looking at yours I should have went with a more glossy vibrant green like that. Nice job man. I like the pic where Brawn is punching Magnus. I can hear him saying,"TAKE THAT!! That`s what you get for not wearing your armor"!!
I'm assuming you mean Hoist. Either that, or the colour's gone on your monitor. Har. I like this one, but it does really draw attention to how slight differences in colour can really change the effect. I totally get more of a Hoist vibe from this, moreso than Brawn. zmog
Face is a bit more Hoist too. Or you can call him Brawn Prime woot! Either way it's lookin' real good!

I love this fig, and it's also inspired me to have a crack myself - I just picked up a Stockade today. Personally, I'm happy with your orange, and the fact that you've left the original head on; Warmachine's is great, but the bright yellow and 'toon face kinda put me off - this looks so much more like the Brawn I know. I think the green is the only thing that looks at all off (a more military drab colour probably would have worked better), but it's still close enough to work well. For the record, mine's getting Vallejo Military Green...

I actually really like this one. Its toy-accurate colors are bold and striking. Its not very "movie-style" but the paint job you gave gives it some individuality :]
