Something that's been on my mind forever, but can't seem to find any info on.

Does anyone know what was used for the G1 Transformation sound? Was it foley artist or just a sound on a keyboard?

Any stories to why that particular sound was chosen?

I can't seem to find anything on google magic.

you know i could never ID that sound. i assumed they made it for the show. why not search out the animated 1 and maybe they will take you backwards? i mean animated even addressed the fact that they make that sound.

Also no idea where it came from, but hearing that sound as Blackout started to transform in the first movie is one of my favorite parts of the movie series. Gave me goosebumps.
