It really sucks living in Texas, where I don’t get to enjoy four distinct seasons like
everyone else. Wish I could move up north. What are seasons like where you live?

I'm thinking about moving to a state where you get four distinct seasons. What are the best states to go?

In the North-East you get them. NY, MA, PA, CT, NJ ect...

Winter blows though. Just try one and you'll never desire it again.

We used to get 4 seasons here in Ohio, but those days are pretty much over, we get our year in 1/6th spring, 1/3rd Summer, and the all the remainder is pretty much fall to varying degrees.

In Germany we had the whole year spring/fall so far. Maybe 5 days of summer. Mostly it was cold and raining for weeks straight. I'm still waiting for summer. One day it was really warm and summer like and we went to the public pool. With a few days off in between it has been raining basically since March. I can't believe how there can be so much rain. As if it will never stop this year. But today was nice and with 21 centigrade it's warmer than most days this summer.

    Sounds familiar...

I guess it depends on the person. I don't mind the winter. I get all 4 seasons out here in the Rockies :D

Yup, all 4 seasons here in Montreal (my hometown), Canada...

Then again, I'm fine with autumn/fall and late spring :p

Nice. Don't you guys get lots of sunshine though? Here in southern NY it's usually gray constantly during the cold months. Like living in a nuclear apocalypse of bleakness.

Sounds like you're talking about Maine! Maine's a beautiful place; you should give it a visit.

As others have said, the Northeast definitely gets all four seasons. We even get a bonus "season". Mud season!

It seems to be slowly turning into fall over here. Slowly.

We get it all. Sometimes a little of everything in one day :lol  I've seen it snow for like 10-20 minutes, then it'll be cloudy. 15 minutes later I'll see sun. Today was a bit windy, but there was sun out.

I am a native Texan so I know what you are getting at. Out here, we get four seasons but the precipitation is mostly wet in terms of rain for the majority of the year. One tends to complain towards the end of the rain season then they get spoiled by the comfortable summers.

Those are January temps. Then it's supposed to be 50 or so tomorrow. Crazy ups and downs of MN.

In Cali inland, we get 6 months of Summer, 2 weeks of Fall, 3.5 months of Winter and 2 months of Spring. Usually in Winter, there isn't a bunch of precipitation, just coldness. When it rains here, meteorologists make a big deal out of it.

Exactly and nights in January temps are more often than not below zero.
