Since the thread is here, I'll add my info too.

    21231

So far no immediate yellowing/discolorations that I see in truck mode or trailer mode out of box. Only MINOR little pet peeve is that there are tons of scratches/paint rubbing on Motormaster and I have a scrape front and center on his chest. But, if that's the worst I have to deal with, then I would say it's still a win. :)

Menasor's really the only one I'm looking to replace because his CW offering is straight up unacceptable, otherwise I'm happy with all my combiners, aside from my Abominus who I'm always terrified is going to break on me thanks to Rippersnapper's combiner peghole being so fragile. A new Devastator and Predaking that actually scale with the others would be nice too, but in the meantime I've got Hercules and Warlord for that, and they're fine.

Got mine in on Sunday. Haven't opened the box or checked the batch number yet, but I'll report back with that information later today.

One minor complaint about MM so far: the tiny little chug scale wheels can't really hold up the CHONK of that trailer, especially the teeny little ones in the back that fold up into the arms

How big is Motormaster himself? Voyager sized? Leader sized?

Here is my Motormaster from an East Arizona Target store, also from Batch 21131.

These folding shin panels seem to be one of the most affected areas. Mine look OK, but I can see the faintest hint of that different color in certain lighting. Maybe. Also, their gate removal work is as haphazard as ever.

I suspect that the coloration issues with these parts are a result specifically of heat. Sometimes complex molds use heated runners to help keep the plastic fluid as it fills the mold. Bad calibration of these heating elements can result in thin parts getting "burned" if plastic enters those parts of the mold when they are too hot. It's an easy thing to get wrong, and it would not affect every single shot of the mold. For example, if an employee took too long in between two shots, the 2nd shot might result in some overcooked parts as the mold had more time to re-heat between shots.

Motormaster himself is amazing, by the way. His QC is just above and beyond. Every tab fits so snugly and satisfyingly, all the panels are in the correct tolerance with each other. Changing him from cab-over to Decepticon Tyrant was a joy. I really feel like we got spoiled on the engineering for this toy.

Menasor's frame was tricky to figure out. I couldn't get it without the instructions. But I also didn't break anything. He looks great, even without his team attached.

It's OK, dude. I had the same physique in college. Until I discovered women.

Where should I actually be putting Drag Strip's blasters?

Fold the spoiler down towards his hand, then dragstrip's blasters can point towards the hand.

So somewhere in between voyager and leader? Nice. How well does he scale with the other Stunticons?

You don't need to move the spoilers, just don't push the blasters in all the way. They still fit and don't fall out.

Got a replacement from a friend today. Think it's also 21131. No discoloration, just a thick black smear of paint on the same problematic leg as the first. Fortunately some isopropyl alcohol and scrubbing took care of it.

Batch 20521, shipped from Target in the US. I identified the following issues on first inspection (there may be more found in time): pic Slight miscolored parts (x2), pic underfill on indented cab sidemarker light detail (driver/port side), warped panel affecting "alt mode" (driver/port side and roof detail), insufficient clutch power/friction to hold trailer wheel bogeys into place in "alt mode".

    got mine today

    Batch number 21231

No yellowing or cracked shoulder hinges, yes to chest-scuffing and warped trailer wheels, but I'm pretty sure the last two are due to the short-sighted way he's packed into his box more than anything.

Going to see if some heat can help resets the wheels, don't know what I can do about the chest-scuffing but I don't feel it's worth returning him for that.
