Personally, I'd love to see and MP RID figure.

 

My dream MP figure: Devastator...unfortunately unlikely due to the cost.

Soundwave seems one of the most obvious due to the repaint value and the ability to include different cassettes with each repaint to encourage fans to buy both.

But then there's Rodimus Prime....and with the upcoming release of FansProject's Protector upgrade to the classics Rodimus, I wouldn't be surprised if this is where Takara heads with the next MP. Hasbro/Takara have made public statements expressing their lack of enthusiasm towards FansProject's more recent projects. If they attempted to release or at least announce an MP Rodimus Prime around the same time FansProject was releasing Protector, it could give Hasbro/Takara the justification they need to go after the third party shops. Just a thought.

 

I want MP Sixshot and MP Overlord.

 

Give me MP Soundwave (with Rumble and Laserbeak, then repaint it to Soundblaster with Frenzy and Buzzsaw) and MP Jetfire, and I'll never ask for Takara to entertain another one of my notions ever again.

 

MP Hot Rod all the way.

 

MP Rodimus, Galvatron or Shockwave.

 

Which character would you like produced next on the Masterpiece line by Takara???

I'm tired of the "repaints". Can we see something different for a change and what would be nice is for it to be in scale with most of the products produced so far.

Autobots: I'd love to see Prowl, Jazz and Hot Rod made. Almost forgot, the rest of the Dinobots.

Decepticons: I'd love to see Soundwave with his minions, Constructicons!

I wish there was a petition for this so Takara can see/hear what the fans want! They want to make money, make what we're asking for and we shall pay.

 

Since they started with Grimlock, I can see the rest of the Dinobots being made into Masterpieces.
Since they've already done the first three seeker jets, it wouldn't be too hard to do Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet. Not exactly repaints as their wings and tails are different.
This has been mentioned before, but I'd love to see Sideswipe, Jazz, Wheeljack, Red Alert, and Sunstreaker be made into Masterpieces as well.

As for Soundwave and his minions, since the original Soundwave was done with mini-cassettes, how about one with full size cassettes?

Constructicons would certainly be awesome. But they'd have to be at an appropriate scale, maybe say 1/24 or something. Maybe even 1/18 scale. Of coarse, that would make Devestator VERY BIG! Still, if he was that huge, imagine the amount of detail they could throw at him. Not to mention how expensive Devestator would be. He could be around $500 or so, maybe even more! At that cost, how many collectors would seriously be interested in him? I know I'd love to have a fully articulated Masterpiece Devestator if I had the money for one.

Insecticons would be another awesome set of Masterpieces as well! Nice big articulated bug's with more detail, and possibly more organic appearance than bionic. Or perhaps some combination of both.

If let's say, they plan on completing the Dinobots. I'd love for Takara to handle Snarl next. I always loved his robot form. And to see it in MP form, wow.

Business wise, you're about Takara, just finishing off the seekers with the cone heads just to get them out of the way before going a different direction since it's not that hard to do. Molds being similar.

Full sized cassettes with a MP Soundwave would be nice! As an accessory to Soundwave I would love for them to include a mini cassette player version of him to put scale in perspective.

Constructicons, yeah wow. That would be a pricey toy. But we can only dare - Dare to believe you can survive!

I was thinking Insecticons as well, as i was reading the All Hail Megatron TPB, LOL.

This is what I want, but I doubt it'll be what we get. I think Hot Rod/Rodimus for an Autobot, or Galvatron for a Decepticon. Soundwave is a possibility but Bumblebee is unlikely because of licensing issues with VW. They could always throw us a curveball and give us a minor character (Again, Sixshot or Overlord would be amazing) but they've stuck to major leader/lieutenant characters so far. Victory Saber would be sweet too, but I'm unsure of how popular he is in Japan. Also, MP Devastator would be pretty sweet, with the combined figure being around the size of Prime.

i got MP-4 Optimus Prime (Convoy) with his trailer
and OMG it is awesome...but holy crap was his box big lol

 

It's an awesome figure huh? I remember when I got mine. I have Black Convoy still sealed; I'm waiting for the Black trailer to be released to go with him.
