Since there is huge love here for Fanproject, I thought I'd take a page out of the Masterpeice thread and make this one specifically for our beloved FP products. Let's take a gander at the list of future releases here shall we!

So we all know that there will be 2 last (who knows, possibly more in the future) Causality figures down the line. Any speculation on these two? We are also aware of a new Warbot figure on the horizon. What and who could it be? Also coming up is another Crossfire set, but which combiner will it enhance? The next most likely release from Fansproject is from their new series of figures called Heartmasters, which has been understood to be their rendition of Powermasters. Pics and some video have been floating around for awhile now of the prototype and discussions as to who this figure is, whether it be an homage to another character or not being uncertain, have taken place. Hope this will be the official thread for all things Fansproject related!

 

Even more speculation I forgot to add. The Glacial Bots (combiner I believe) that were discussed long ago. What is the status of this release? Cancelled? Also, the Collector, which was supposed to be FP's version of Wreckgar or a generic Junkion. In leux of Hasbro/Takara releasing our favorite TV talker, it is more than likely that they may have scrapped this project, but are we certain of that? So much set to be released, but yet to heard of or to be seen by our beloved Fansproject!

 

Hoping the rumours about a 'from scratch' G1 inspired Menasor/Stunticons will come true ...

 

That would be very awesome. I personally am not partial to their combiner stuff as it is too small, (I'm really liking TFC's Devastator and it's size) but if this were from scratch and compiled of 4 deluxe sized figures and 1 voyager (which won't happen and would be very expensive, though I would slap down the cash for it), I would buy it in a matter of microseconds.

 

The comic that came with Warbot Defender (not-Springer) showed a clone of Warbot Defender.....hmmmmm......maybe him? Or maybe some of his compatriots that got killed?

 

I am also looking forward to this and hopefully we get a better add on set for Superion like the one for Bruticus.

 

A proper Galvatron or GTFO.

 

I've been hoping for awhile that they would actually do an add on kit for the Classics figure. It's a bit of a stretch for that mold but with their genius, I don't doubt they could pull it off. If not, then from scratch is totally welcome. It'd be cool if they went with the IDW look. Here's to hoping that they will do SOMETHING for Galvatron!

 

Wasn't there Broadside concepts up awhile ago too, Warbot I think.

 

I'd like to see a from scratch, complete combiner. The crossfire set is such a tease to me because I don't care for that Energon mold it enhances. I always would've loved for them to have their own take on all of the Combaticons.

I've always been partial to the Aerialbots so I'd love for them to take a stab at a complete set. No enhancement of that Energon abomination.

 

I don't want them to backtrack and work on anything they've ever done before, even if they "could do it better".

I'd like to see:

- Red warbot
- Galvatron
- Energon Devastator Upgrades (Yep, I'm getting Herc and Giant... so what? Ok then.)
- Dinobots (minus grimlock)
- Stunticons

They have CAD drawings of a Warbot 02 Broadside. They mentioned a Crossfire 03 set for this year as well as the Heartmaster 01.

 

I am hoping for a reissue of Warbot Defender, I missed him and his aftermarket prices are too high for my taste (though I've noticed a few deals in the Junkion section, will have to check it out again when I have the cash).

Other than that, Warbot 02 (Broadside) is a given, but I really don't understand why they're taking so long.

Stunticons were heavily hinted at during BotCon. I'd personally like Technobots to be the next group to receive the update afterwards.

 

I sorta wish they'd do Blitzwing or even Sandstorm before Broadside.

 

Hey thunderwing fans: question.

I'm not too familiar with the character, but I've seen pictures and stuff, and man, he was a humongouse BEAST!

Are you guys wanting an upgrade kit, or a whole new character to achieve that?

Also, doesn't this seem like the longest we've gone without prototypes or anouncements from FP?

 

I was thinking this the other day. It does feel like it's been a while.

Looking at their website, they released the images of the Heart Master on June 30th, so yeah, it's been a while.

 

I'd love to see an FP Menasor. There was a shadow of a 3rd combiner in the Bruticus pack no?

I imagine if the Giant and Herc Devastators do well enough... we will be seeing updates of other combiners in the near future.

As for Thunderwing's official figure... it would've been nice if he were at least a large Voyager. Design wise he's a great combo of his alt and pretender modes.

 

This. All of this. Im getting herc as well and i want an energon devy upgrade.

 

I will use your post to point out that in another thread an insider heavily hinted that the Thunderwing thing will be done by iGear.

As for announcements by FP, It hasn't been that long since we got new Giant news.
