I've heard about this being done - mainly on this board - but hadn't seen it until tonight. Looks like someone bought Skids, of all things, took it out, put whatever this is in its packaging, returned it and the WalMart put it back out for sale. Speaking of, anyone know what the heck that thing is? I took it to the front of the store, and got to hand it a front-end manager. He said that happens - someone tried to return a phone where the phone inside didn't match the box - and he said it wouldn't go back on the peg. I hope not. I made it clear what was inside wasn't anywhere near what it was supposed to be. Man, people, geez.

It's the "action figure" (non-kit) version of Zoids Elephander, missing nearly everything. To the original poster, since you're from PA...which Walmart did you see this at? I'm asking since the Goodwill store in my area coincidentally had this same Zoids figure, in that condition, for cheap a few days ago, and when I checked the store out today looking for TFs, I noticed that the Elephander was gone. And now I see this...makes me wonder, haha. MIKE engledogg
This post should be here...haha... http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...-so-cool-stuff-transformers-only-edition.html
Or in this thread that's specifically about swapping. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/441544-toy-swapping-your-pics.html
I will never understand why people will go to a store, buy a figure, take it home, open it, find something else they probably stole to replace it in the package, go back to said store, probably stand in line for awhile all to get like $10 or $15 back. It would probably take less time and effort to just.... I don't know, go to work for an hour and earn the money to buy stuff you want in life.
How would you like to be the clueless person who buys this. Although I find it hard to believe someone could buy something like this and not realize there's something wrong. But for sake of hypothetical, someone not into TFs needs a birthday gift for someone, grabs this (without thought of the fact the packaging is mangled, as it has been opened and taped back together), wraps it, gives it and then... just ugly.
Yeah, not to mention when parts have been stolen out of it & you don't wanna return the toy because then you won't have anything at all (since it's always the last one they have or whatever). That happened to me with a Batmobile when I was little & it sucked ass. I hope the fucker who stole the Hood piece & side guns from this did something glorious with em.
Ah, thanks for the info. It wasn't around here, then. And, wow...reading that toy swapping thread, WM will really take anything back, won't they? MIKE engldeogg
