Been a little while since I posted on this thread.

I tried to join the draw this morning for the SB Dunks, but the damn app kept giving me an error message for 15 straight times and the draw closed. I changed the payment form to no avail. I'm done with that stupid app. I recently updated it, so there shouldn't have been any issues. I deleted it. I'm done with that stupid app. I never won anything anyway. I'm like 0-12.

On the bright side, I recently got the retro 3's.

 

I also tried to do that draw thing for the SB Unicorn Gundam. Son really wanted those for Christmas. Is that something new they're doing or is it just for shoes that are extremely limited? Everything went through fine when I tried so I assumed I would get them but..........nope I didn't. Also, my son was saying that his friend has a bot and was gonna try and get them. Would having a bot even help you in a drawing thing like that? Excuse my ignorance on the subject, I just don't know much about that stuff.

 

The raffles have been around for a long time, and the whole point was to make it fair for everyone, which it most certainly does NOT.

I watched a Nike SNKR app bot video and it can absolutely tilt the scales in your favor. The bot makes a bunch of accounts with corresponding emails and addresses that fools the site, thus giving you a much better shot to win raffles. Apparently, a great many resellers use this tactic from looking at the comments... or it's a ruse to convince people to buy the software.

Shortly after the draw results, all kinds of SB's ended up on eBay at $400+. Fug that ish. I'll just do without.

 

I guess I don't get into all the crazy limited stuff. If I can't just login and buy it, I either go to eBay, Eastbay or I go without but I was gonna try the raffle since they were my son.

Thanks for the tutorial on the bot stuff. I knew about the bots allowing you to buy multiple pairs but I wasn't aware of the bots and the raffle system.
