    Cosplaying (cross-playing, really) as the character 011 (or Eleven or Elle) from the Netflix show "Stranger Things".

    Like Free Comic Book Day, patrons of Halloween ComicFest are encouraged to dress up.

    My costume was well timed because "Stranger Things 2" was released on Halloween last year, the season of the show was set around Halloween and the lead characters dressed up as the Ghostbusters for Halloween!

    The title is a pun on "The Book of the Damned" by Charles Fort (a non-fiction work regarding supernatural and other anomalous phenomena), with the rabbits' appearance being an homage to the luminous-eyed "Children of the Damned" from the film of the same name. ;)
