Most everybody knows what to do....

And remember no nudies or partially dressed!! Keep it rated G!!

Absolutely, no Swim Suits... no matter how tasteful... they just tend to invite the wrong type of comments from some.... so let's not invite temptation. Thanks.

    Thanks man! You too!

Seems crazy, so many of our friends have been divorced and remarried and divorced again during that same time.

    Gratz!

We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary ourselves (it's the day right after Christmas; well, it would count as being Christmas back in the States due to the 12 to 14 hour time difference since we got married in Japan). So my wife and I have zero excuses for forgetting the date. :lol

16 years is a pretty long time. I suppose the thing that scares me more is that my Son is the same age as we were when we first started dating in High School. As a parent I would not suggest the same path.

Thanks! I'm barley keeping up, but she gets better with age.

Congrats to you as well! You guys look great! We are Jan 6th so I at least know it's around the New Year.

Thanks! Wow, 16 years. Hope we can hang in there together for that long and beyond. My wife says that year 7 is often the the rockiest for some unknown reason (probably read it from somewhere), and that's just around the corner. :lol

That might stem from the "7 Year Itch" movie, but apparently there maybe some correlation to people getting board with any long term commitment after 7 years, including your full time job or having a house.

You guys live in Japan right? Are divorce rates any different there?

Ah, that makes sense. Long term relationships aren't too different from long term career choices then. :D

Japan, yes, but I'm also military so I can't really comment on the divorces rates of the local Japanese population. Military, well, let's just say there's a reason why our career fields are high stress, lol.

What I can comment on is that since we've arrived here, my wife has been hit on a few times not by any fellow military guys (as I would've expected) but by other foreign expats living here in Japan and by local nationals. :lol  They would ask her to go out for a "cup of coffee", which is apparently code for "one night stand" here. These are complete strangers asking her this.

I had to laugh when she told me once that she was asked to go out for a cup of coffee by a Japanese woman (who kept following her around this clothing store while she shopped). My wife politely declined, explaining she was married. :D  But yeah, we were both amused by the "cup of coffee" thing. (No one has asked me this yet though, haha, but my wife says she doesn't believe me.)
