RE4 Remake Demo?

Are demos even a thing anymore?

 

RE and side missions just sounds odd to me. I think I will ask for RE4 for my birthday though. I haven't requested a RE game for my birthday since Code Veronica.

 

I'm super excited for R4make to drop this month- the original RE4 is one of those games I can play over and over and always find something new to enjoy.

After Capcom (IMO) really dropped the ball on RE3 remake, I hoped they knew that they didn't have much room to mess up the 4 remake, since the game is lauded as one of the highest rated games of it's time (and seems to be remembered fondly even today). Not many games have tempted me to buy a PS5, but now the time has come. Lol

I saw the trailers and a bit of gameplay and I've been won over. There were a couple of times I raised my eyebrow, but I can't really judge that until I've played the game and seen how it affects the experience. I have a feeling I won't be disappointed here.

 

So its gonna be on ps4 but not xbox one? Well fuck guess I'm not playing for a long while

I found out Capcom did something similar for RE8. Only it wasn’t animated, they used puppets.

 

My local Walmart had copies on the shelf before the release date. It let me buy it at the register. It wasn’t locked out like normal new release stuff being sold before the date. I could even do order pickup on the app, in case the register wouldn’t let me buy it.

 

How peculiar. But yet Pokémon plush shit gets register locked.

Excited for this game. Still trying to decide if I should keep the Collector’s Edition though. It’s cool but not entirely sure if I want to drop $250 on it.

 

I’m just getting the steam version so I can play it on the steam deck, I’ve already played the original multiple times on the switch

 

Just finished Chapter 1 and I have enjoyed it so far!

The only downside is Capcom skipped RE: Code Veronica to make this......

 

Been playing for awhile, Ashley is still annoying but not as annoying about getting captured and killed in the original.

 

Does the game still reference CV in an opening text crawl?

 

Nope! Zero references so far. The opening cut scene is a little different.

I will say I am not a fan of Capcom recasting Ada. I heard the new voice actress, a term I use loosely because she sounds like they picked someone off the street, and it's vastly inferior to the lady they had in RE2. I just don't get why Capcom can not stick to one voice actor for anything.

 

Yeah, Capcom just doesn't stay consistent.... I dunno if these voice actors demand huge paydays but her voice acting is meh at best! Also, wait till you hear the other "voice"... not even close to being decent.
