    ^^^

It won't happen, I'll be just like the Michigan/OSU rematch a couple of years ago. The voters will mysteriously vote Bama down to 3

They will find someone. You gotta remember, at the time, the Big 10 wasn't discredited yet and OSU/Michigan was well...

    OSU MICHIGAN!

The voters threw Florida into the mix and well... we all remember how that turned out.

Bama won't go, it'll be some random team.... maybe Stanford?

    EDIT: Virginia Tech?

    EDIT: Houston?

I think Alabama is most likely, followed by Oklahoma State, then Stanford. I'm going with the idea LSU wins out, though.

Well, this weeks games won't matter until the final BCS selection show.:2c:

I'll be shocked if they let the rematch happen. Ever since the BCS started with Florida State back in 98-99..... They have always found a way to screw deserving teams.

Remember undefeated Auburn? That is the thing with the BCS; voters can push whoever they want to into the top spot.

(as for me, I hope it doesn't happen! I don't want to see another boring 6-9 game. Their offenses are terrible....:lol )

It should be interesting to see how these last couple of weeks play out. What would really throw a wrench into the whole thing,is if LSU would somehow lose a game.

Their offenses are not terrible, but their defenses are fantastic. LSU put up 40 on Oregon, 47 on West Virginia, 41 on Florida and 45 on Auburn. Alabama scored 27 on Penn State, 38 on Arkansas, 38 on Florida and 45 yesterday on Georgia Southern. The fact is that the SEC is just better than the rest of the country.

That said, anyone can beat anyone in one game and I personally believe that you must be a conference champ to play for the national title so I don't support the LSU/Alabama rematch. The national championship game should be the winner of the SEC vs. one of the other conference's champions.

Wow, really...no love for the Razorbacks huh. Don't be fooled by the loss to Alabame earlier this year, the Hogs are for real. Their offense is one of the best I've seen and can hang with any team in the country, it's their defense that is the weak link. The loss to Alabama was early in the year when Arkanasas didn't know what they had or how to utilize it but with a 6 game winning streak and some impressive games (and some unimpressive games) in that period, Arkansas knows what they have to do and I know I will get laughed at for this one but Arkansas has a chance. Every year LSU/ARK is always a good game down to the last couple minutes no matter who is ranked what or where in the polls.

Keep an eye on Tyler Wilson, he's a better QB then Mallet was last year and if he can lead the Hogs to victory could he'll be mentioned (he won't win) in the Heisman talks as he's had a very impressive year.

I'm rooting for Arkansas to win vs LSU. Arkansas is my fave SEC team (they had the balls to schedule USC when USC was a dominating force) and LSU is my least fave. Arkansas win over LSU and then over UGA would for sure put them in the BCS NC game.

Aaaahhhh.... I'm just waiting for the day the BCS actually picks a GOOD team to go up against the SEC. In my eyes, those teams do NOT walk on water and have plenty of holes that can be exploited with a good team.

Oh and guess who dropped another F bomb

It's too bad USC is not bowl eligible this year. If Barkley returns next year watch for them to compete for the National Championship.

I think LSU's defense shuts down Arkansas' offense. I think Wilson is gonna struggle making throws when his receivers can't get open.

At the beginning of the year I might have agreed with you but they have really gotten on the same page lately.

I pick Ark over LSU and Alabama over Auburn and then Alabama winning the SEC title. And here's the crazy part, Arkansas's BCS ranking could be high enough to where they play 'Bama for the title...wouldn't that be sweet revenge. Probably won't happen but hey it's college football, after this past weekend anything can happen......anything

ESPN reporting an announcement won't be made until after this weekend's game with Michigan, since Luke Fickell is still *technically* the HC at OSU. Also rumored that Fickell will be retained as an assistant head coach.

BTW, RichRod to Zona? Didn't see that one coming.

Isn't the AP poll no longer part of the BCS formula? Or is it the coaches that's no longer part of it? Can't remember for the life of me.

I don't like LSU but they are clearly the best team this year. Completely killed hogs. Only one can compete with them is Alabama. We might see that rematch in the BCS title. They have beaten a few top 5 teams this year. Probably a record.
