Has anyone gotten the Codec Output to work in options. Mine is grayed out and doesn't work, even with my Blutooth headset on.

 

So, I read in an IGN review that there's an option to pause during cutscenes. Does that also mean that I can rewind and fastforward the cutscenes (not skip, just go a few seconds ahead)?

 

Not that I know of Bro. Got a phone call last night while I was watching one and I paused it, the only option was skip.

Not that it's impossible because I've seen it done, but because they are not prerendered, and because of the nature of scripting those animations and that of the cameras, and dialogue sync up, I think it's still very difficult to allow for a true rewind, since it means going back into a script and finding where all of the assets are supposed to be at a certain time.

I know when editing FL, which is nowhere near as intense as this, it would take a long time to refresh when we wanted to go back in a scene, while forward wasn't so bad

 

i haven't tried - but i do know after you pair the headset with the ps3 you have to then go into accessory options and change some settings (but i rpesume you've already done this)

 

Hmmm, yeah, but who knows if I did it right. I changed output to the BT because I didn't care about input since it was just for the single player game, but it was still grayed out in the options. It sux because I remember how cool it was in Sly Cooper to hear your mate on the headset giving you instructions. Hearing Codec live in my ear would make me fart.

I haven't used the online capabilities at all on the PS3. What do I do to get a list going?

Friends list is in the XMB all the way to the right. Select add a friend and type my damned name in!

 

I type in Dan Sheehan?

 

Friends tab at the far right, add a friend, type in soundwaveCA to request friend.
