I thought it might be worth a try, a couple of catch all threads to either vent or gush, rather than a new one springing up every five minutes. We'll see how it pans out  

 

I loved it!I loved absolutelty everything:the characters,the plot,the fights,the comedy(even Optimus has a comic moment).The music was well used :Battle Cry,Control and that song when Cade drives also the score was brilliant,It was that song when Lockdown was onscreen(was also in Payoff trailer,Ratchet and Lucas's deaths shocked me but still cool.As I am a hardcore TF movie fan I give AOE 10/10,don't care what the critics think

 

I haven't seen it yet but I know I'll love the film!! Heck, I like ROTF  

 

I only loved the first 45 minutes. I want to forget the rest.

 

Best Transformers Movie Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this one had more robot scenes than the others.

My favorite parts were literally the Dinobots.

Awesome movie. Bay must have done something right if he got my neighbor to like it. He hates everything that's not g1 or beast wars. For him to cry for optimus and to go buy his toy!!!!! Anyway 4 out of 5 stars.... Haters gonna hate. Drift FTW

 

I have to say that I really enjoyed it. So much better than his previous tf films. There were a few elements that I wish they'd done differently ( the molecular shift transforming of the drones and Galvatron), but overall it worth seeing especially if you have a bad taste from the other films like I did. Even my wife kept committing on how much of an improvement this was.

 

Best movie of the series. Lockdown was the first badass and intimidating villain. Also they didn't screw up Galvatron like I thought they would.

 

It was awesome. Seriously. My boys and I loved it. Sure I would have loved more if the Dinobots (including an explanation of why they happen to Transform into Dinosaurs) but hey. It was awesome. Lockdown was awesome. Hound was awesome. Optimus got some great scenes and action with actual character development.

Honestly, in my opinion in each if these movies it seems like Bay and company really listen to fan feedback and try to address it while still making movies that can appeal to mass audiences. In this film we saw Dinobots and a lot more focus on the bots. These are things fans have been wanting since the first film came out. Seriously the influence we as fans have had on this film series is I think unprecedented as far as I know. Despite what some people think, in my opinion Bay and everyone else involved in these movies do care about the characters and the fans.

Now let's see more of the Dinobots in TF5.

 

Thought it was probably jostling for the first or second best live action film, though their were a few issues that make it a film I probably wont watch in full again.

I noticed Bay seems to really nail the beginnings of the movies. The beginning of AOE was my favorite part of the movie. I loved the opening sequence in DOTM and the first part of ROTF was the best.

At the beginning of the movie he was hyped, it was earlier on in production. I believe he had rough times in Hong Kong including an air conditioner... and the excessive targeting of the Chinese market brought most the second half of the movie down in terms of quality.

 

It was absolutely amazing. I mean so much better than the original trilogy. Yes there were flaws but very little in my opinion. The action was stunning, the human characters were likeable and relatable, the humor was funny, each Transformer had a distinct personality, there was a emotional touch that Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon lacked, and much more robot screen time! My only complaint is the ending felt a little rushed after Optimus Prime killed Lockdown. Besides that I enjoyed every second and was left wanting more. It was left open perfectly for the fifth film and I can't wait for that!

 

Probably some truth to this. Dealing with Chinese people can be a nightmare (I used to be married to one, trust me), but this just makes it all the more impressive he turned out a movie as good as he did.
