so i'm getting back into collecting TRANSFORMERS and one of my favorites is SOUNDWAVE and since search feature is down i don't know if a thread like this is already up, so if their is then i am sorry but none the less i would like to see peoples G1 SOUNDWAVE collection

i have the MP SOUNDWAVE on pre-order and with the latest pics of him and his cassettes just made me even happier i pre-ordered.


i know i am not the only SOUNDWAVE fan so lets get this party rolling!

i've started my G1 SOUNDWAVE collection with the pre-order and then at NYCC12 i picked up this takara collection 18 SOUND BLASTER

It was a risk, for sure, but it paid off WELL. I'll give you a hit, sub 80 bucks  

 

I will be Soundwaveless for about another month and a half, then things will be looking alot better!

I generally prefer villains over the heroes, and the decepticons are no exception. Granted there aren't that many to chose from, but I absolutely love Soundwave. He is without a doubt one of my fav Transformers. The whole concept of hosting minions in his chest is just too cool - it only really works for Soundwave though...Blaster is a pussy by comparison.

I do love the cassettes too, Soundwave just isn't complete without them. I got all cassettes so far and have the rediculasly over priced sg set on preorder - couldn't care less about SG soundwave & Blaster, but the cassettes? Need those bad.

My Soundwave collection is far from complete but I have sound label Soundwave, Encore Soundwave, Heroes of cybertron soundwave and Encore Sounblaster. I'll snap some pics tomorrow.

I got TRU reissue and SDCC set. Still remember the day in 2007 when I found a reissue in TRU for $30.

 

The TRU reissue is what got me into collecting. Sadly, he's pretty loose since I transformed him almost constantly (and... brought him with me everywhere) so in robot mode he always leans forward a bit. I want to get a new G1 Soundwave mold for display, but... the prices are always just too much than I'm willing to pay for a mold I already own.

Soundwave was my first Transformer. I traded him for the GI Joe Dragonfly. Today, I was going through a box of old toys (Gobots, other knockoffs and jumpstart Topspin found) and found his two missiles. I still have the Dragonfly.
