Will he be the biggest baddest battlin' Decepticon that makes Lugnut pales in comparison? I'm really hyped about Blackout being included on TFA, he's my favorite 'Con from the '07 movie. And is it possible for him to get a leader-class figure, to make it even, two Leader-class 'Cons & two Leader-class 'Bots? Anyway, is it just me or he's really an amalgamation of Blackout, Brawl & Bonecrusher?  

 

I thought it wouldn't be possible to turn a movie bot into an Animated bot and have him actually look like 'the real deal'..but Blackout proves me wrong! I hope he will be like in the movie, but I doubt it - he only had a couple of lines in which he confesses his love for Megatron..he'd turn out into a Lugnut clone!  

 

Well, he is really, obviously based on Movie Blackout, to the point where he even looks like he'd turn into a Helicopter if he had an earth mode. Interesting. I'd probably buy a toy if there was one.

 

No matter how small or big his role shall be, he'll be GLORIOUS and probably AWESOME.

 

I wonder if making the only movie bot look like a bug is a bit of commentry from the animated crew?  

I get that his 'mouth' design is probably meant to invoke a pair of mandibles, but it just ends up looking like a moustache. Nice design otherwise.

 

Let's hope Bonecrusher will show up and he hates everythiiiing.

 

Well, if it's true that Lugnut's design was partially inspired by Blackout and his transformation, I'd like some interration between the two and some sort of dialogue that hints at that fact, just for a bit of fanwank.

 

Blackout too was my fav bot from the movie, but this looks to have Brawls head, which I don't know how to feel about him...kitbash here I come...

 

I'm guessing he's Lugnut but without the comical fanatism over Megatron. He gets things done, kinda like Shockwave. As a character he's probably has very little to say, the silent, thinking type contrary to most depictions of large Decepticons.

That is an amazing Animated Bonecrusher.  

Returning to Blackout speculation, however, I'm turning against the norm and requesting that he be given a different personality from his Movie counterpart. We don't need another Megatron yes-man, I say.

 

Then make him Shockwave's personal yes-man, the bulk of Shockwave's team, pretty much like Lugnut's role on Megatron's core group, and less fanatical than Lugnut.

While I posted my approval for a star-crossed Bulkhead/Strika romance in another thread (with her as the girl he left behind on the Energon farm  ), I wouldn't at all mind Blackout fulfilling Obsidian's role in Animated.

yes he will be the biggest transformer there is, he will tower even omega supreme, and just to smite all the "leader class blackout'ers" out there... hasbro will release his toy, as a legends, only  !

 

It'd be cute (cuter still if they have him talk like a LOLcat), but I'm more in favor of G1 Scorponok appearing in Animated as a rival Decepticon warlord to Megatron.

 

Bulkhead & Strika romance? Hmmm... check THIS out..  

 

Yep, I'd expect G1 Scorponok to appear on Animated rather than the savage predatory Movie Scorponok, assuming now he's on his own, and not controlled by a Headmaster like the good ol' days..  

But talks about "G1 v Movie on Animated", I'm 50-50 divided on Bonecrusher.. At one side, I'd love to see his Movie incarnation getting included on Animated, but on the other side of the coin, I'd also love to see his G1 Constructicon incarnation and then later join forces with Mixmaster & Scrapper. Either way, it would work, I think..  

 

Well we could have movie Bonecrusher as a Constructicon. Maybe he's always drunk on oil that's why he hates everything.
