Hi all just wanted to make a thread for our favorite masterpiece beast wars characters. All the images so far what people have done on the boards in terms of digibashing prototype images, teasers and official images, let’s talk beast wars masterpieces   if I missed anything do upload it.

Some collages of the maximals and predacons that I can find. Man some of these are going to be hard but not impossible. Also creepy  

 

I still just have this weird feeling that we're going to see several new G1 molds either this December or early next year sometime, and then a surprise additional BW mold closer to the end of the year or middle of the year announced. And that that mold will either be Megatron out of left field, or something nobody expects.

While I believe pretty firmly they WILL do a Rattrap, a Rhinox, a Waspinator, and a Blackarachnia, I do also suspect they will come later than Megatron or anyone else, just because they will wish to leave a longer gap between the new Generations iterations and the MPs.

So when it comes to who's next, my totally speculative guess is:
1) Megatron
2) Tigatron
3) Anyone else (though probably not the aforementioned four, until others have received MPs.)

In that order basically. But that's just my wild guess.

 

We have megs coming down the pipe already. I can see them doing Tigatron next as he would be a simole retool of what we got with Cheetor.

My money is on Scorponok being the next new mold.

Don’t know why the thread was ressurrected. We don’t need a seaparate BW speculation thread imo. Its part of the main MP line, so all speculation can go in the main thread

 

I myself would prefer a thread with just BW stuff. I have nothing against other MP lines but I do kind of want to not have to sift through lots of pages for BW specific posts and etc...

 

I can't wait to see all 14 characters from Season 1.

 

But we really need a new Pred after Megatron. Tarantulas, Waspinator or Scorponok would be just perfect but I would like to see Terrorsaur most

 

Scorp and terrasaur high on my list to replace on my beastwars shelf.

 

Well, if we're having a separate thread, I may as well pop the two theories in here.

The first is the Verno Numbering Theory (VNT):

It's based around the numbering that Takara had on the original Beast Wars figures. I've made the show characters bold in the list below for easy reference.

Cybertrons

• C-1 Convoy (MP-32)

• C-3 Cheetus (MP-34)
• C-4 Dinobot (MP-41)
• C-5 Rattle
• C-6 Convobat
• C-7 Rhinox
• C-8 Tigatron

As you can see, the Beast Wars Masterpiece releases thus far are following along a similar path. It would suggest that, of the show characters, Scorponok will be the next Predacon release and Rattrap will be the next Maximal.

Redecos like Buzz Saw and Lazorbeak will just slot in where needed, as evidenced by Shadow Panther.

The second theory revolves around when Beast Wars Masterpiece figures will be released.

There is a potential pattern emerging, revolving around a 9 figure rotation (excluding exclusives etc):

Set One:

MP-32 Convoy
MP-33 Inferno
MP-34 Cheetus
MP-35 Grapple
MP-36 Megatron
MP-37 Artfire
MP-38 Convoy (Legendary Leader)
MP-39 Sunstreaker
MP-40 Hot Rodimus

Set Two:

MP-41 Dinobot
MP-42 Cordon
MP-43 Megatron
MP-?? Convoy (V3)
MP-?? Hound

If we see a third G1 (or other) announced, the theory would suggest that a Beast Wars figures would follow.

It's all fun and games to fill the time while we wait between releases and announcements.

 

I hope it's not the case, but I feel Inferno might be the very last season 1 character they make for Masterpiece.

 

I prefer a separate thread as well for the BW MP’s. It keeps the G1 guys happy that we’re not clogging up there thread with the BW speculation stuff . I’m a G1 guy first and foremost so I see both sides of the fence . Lol. Anyways , I guess any S1 guy can come next as Takara has yet to show any form of pattern ( even if some of you guys tried to connect the dots ) . I’d put my money on Rhinox though . For my Prediction for the new Pred , I’d go with Waspinator. He was the most prominent in the season 1 and was always a constant in the show till the very end .

 

Well, for the good of the thread, we should get the MP Tigatron fight out of the way early  

 

I hope they do. Can't imagine it wouod be that hard to retool cheetor.
