I loved that win over Pitt. The defense showed clear improvements, and the offense is still elite. I can only imagine what the score would be if there weren’t so many dropped catches due to how cold and wet it is. It was just hilarious how Pitt’s coach talked shit all the week only for them to get blown out at home and let the third string Penn State quarterback throw a deep touchdown pass on his first ever attempt. That really put a lot of my worries to rest; that and the fact that App St. won big this week, so I’d say that App St was legitimately really good.
#8 Miami lost to #25 LSU #7 Auburn lost to #12 LSU I think the rest of the Top 10 should be afraid of LSU.
Winning on the road against Auburn is pretty impressive. LSU is for real this season, and I will admit that I was wrong about them going into this season. Granted, I didn’t expect Joe Burrow to have an immediate impact after transferring either. Also, lol to Wisconsin losing to BYU
UCF had no game because of Florence. North Carolina had logistics problems moving the game to Florida so they'll make it up later. Gators beat Colorado State, had a weak 1st and 3rd quarters but otherwise did okay. 48 - 10. USF trailed Illinois until the 4th quarter, where they scored 18 points and won. Final score 25-19. Glad they haven't lost yet, want it to be more meaningful when they play the Knights in November. FSU got annihilated by Syracruse. 7-30. Was 0-23 until the Noles scored in the 4th quarter.
I would not be surprise if the FSU fans have started demanding to get rid of Taggert. They are not use of having a losing season. I know because I was born and raised in the state of Florida.
They were pissed at Jimbo Fisher last year even though he had some good seasons with them before. He actually had a good reason to underperform last year too when they lost their starting quarterback in Week 1 and had to throw a true Freshman out there against teams like Miami. They look even worse this season even though they got Francois back, and they had a ton of recruits uncommit in the summer. I don’t think FSU even makes a Bowl game this year.
Might be parody, but i think i saw a GoFundMe page full of fans offering to pay out Taggert's contract.
Well, LSU managed to keep the lead and win. I do have a feeling that LSU is going to drop in the poll. 7th feels likely. Staying at 6th would surprise me. Remaining in the Top 10 would be nice.
I am happy my Canes beat FSU. But FSU was ahead 21 to 7 and blew it. I was reading FSU pages on Facebook and their fans were saying the refs gave Miami the win and Miami must have bought and paid the refs.
If I were Alabama, I think I would need to be careful when facing LSU. If LSU could beat #2 Georgia, #1 Alabama could fall to LSU as well. Seriously, LSU has defeated THREE Top 10 teams. Every team should be afraid of LSU right now.
Man UCF almost lost their win streak. Somehow their defense shut out Memphis in the second half, the Tigers totally fucked up the last 30 seconds of the game, and the Knights pulled a win out of their ass. I guess that’s what good teams do though - win ugly along the way.
Miami lost two straight games to Virginia and Boston College. Miami has problems with the offense and quarterbacks. But I was watching the FSU/Clemson game and FSU held them in the 1st quarter.
