Because it's never too early to start folks. National signing day coming up. Lots of good recruits out there still undecided.... Oh, and look at what was put up at the Knights practice field....
I for one am very excited for next season. Penn State has one hell of a recruiting class coming up and all the former backups have significant playing time. Perhaps the most underrated coaching hire of the year so far in my opinion is the addition of Army’s head coach as Penn State’s new Running Backs Coach. We’re talking about a coach that figured out how to win 10 games a year by only running the football, and now he’s got two 5 star running back prospects on the roster to work with. Alabama is going to be downright scary this year though. Their defense is always good, but their offense has been stagnant the last few years. However, now they have a pretty good quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa. It’s going to take a truly special team (which is hopefully my Nittany Lions) to beat them because I just don’t see any flaws with them right now. As far as UCF goes, I think their offense will still be a juggernaut, but I’m worried about how their defense will do without Shaqem Griffin. That guy has heart, and no team seemed to have any answers on how to stop him from getting in the backfield.
UCF’s title defense is going to be very rough, with literally an entirely new coaching staff. I’m optimistic but expecting a few hiccups. Full schedule should be coming in the next few days but we already set a date with FAU. We shall see if FSU and UF bounce back at all, but for now that’s a marquee in-state matchup.
Got it up today. Looks great. EDIT: Geez. FSU sure has fallen since the goody two shoes days of Charlie Ward.
The story may have been updated since you posted, but it looks like Francois did nothing wrong. The lady was a crazy bitch who locked herself in his room and started breaking his stuff - he was trying to remove her as calmly as possible. Still, FSU doesn’t need the drama. NICE.
Yeah it has been updated since 1:30. Still, it’s not the best situation to be in after the year they’ve had.
I don’t want to get too far into this for obvious reasons, but this Michigan State thing is becoming a bigger and bigger mess every ten minutes. First, it was just the basketball team, now most of their major sports programs were involved. Apparently, Mark Emmert (President of the NCAA) knew about the allegations all the way back in 2010. Hopefully they don’t just get a slap on the wrist like Baylor did.
I am looking forward to next season to see how well the Hurricanes will do. They are suppose to have better recruiting then both Florida and Florida St.
I don't know how usc will do, or wha the quaterback situation will solve out, but we should be okay next year. Ucla is going to have a rough year. Errr.....Fight on?
I don’t know if he’ll start right away, but their new recruit JT Daniels looked really impressive in high school. Honestly, he reminded me of a slightly shorter Sam Darnold. I’m not sure UCLA will be competing for the PAC 12 Championship immediately, but I think they’ll still do pretty good this year under Chip Kelly. For one thing, his new QB recruit was shredding the defense in the Under Armour All America Game. Miami should still be really good. No one expected them to do as well as they did last year. I still think the ACC will be a two horse race between them and Clemson. Florida State just lost way too much in order to compete for the top spot in my opinion. Miami really needs to improve in their quarterback play if they want to beat Clemson though. I haven’t looked to see who they have coming in, but Rosier should hopefully be better than last year.
Well Max Browne was an excellent high school quaterback, but couldn't translate it to college. Idk, I'll see.
Major twitter "war" going on right now between Alabama and UCF. Mac Loudermilk on Twitter 2017 National Champions on Twitter 2017 National Champions on Twitter Pretty damn funny, to be honest. Just the PR alone has been worth over 26 million for UCF, per some analysts.
Alabama fans can complain all they want, but UCF’s National Championship claim is more legitimate than the one Alabama claimed in 1941. In that year, Alabama finished third in their own conference and were ranked 20th in the AP poll. It’s also more legitimate than Texas’s 1969 National Championship title when President Nixon decided that the winner of the Texas-Arkansas game would be the National Champion even though none of the Bowl games had even been played yet.
The Touchdown Club of Columbus names UCF the National Champions. Imo, the TD Club of Columbus carries far more weight than Reddit or the Colley Matrix. This is a big damn deal folks. Twitter
