Bah... the guy I'm playing in Fantasy Hockey this week has Vokoun and he took the lead in Save % and GAA because of that game. I can't believe how futile Calgary's offence has become. I guess it didn't work the first time that Jokinen and Tanguay were there, so why would it work the second time? I think the Sutter's reign in Calgary will be coming to an end pretty soon.
I've been a Habs fan for years, but not this year... I'm going to follow them, but I think I'll root against them. I really didn't appreciate the organization trading Halak, and I really don't like Price. So this year, I'm going to try to catch as many Blues games as I can.. Calgary signed Jay Bouwmeester for nothing. He wanted to get out of Florida so bad and now he has done nothing for Calgary. Bouwmeester is overrated.
I watched the Florida-Tampa game lastnight. Vokoun earned his second straight shutout. I hope they will keep winning.

This is getting to be an exciting season with the rough play. Rick Rypien is suspended indefinitely for having an altercation with a fan. Shane Doan suspended for 3 games. Nick Foligon fined for illegal check. Niklas Hjalmarsson suspended for 2 games. James Wisniewski suspended for 2 games and Pierre-Luc Letourneau-LeBlond suspended for 1 game.
Ilya Kovalchuk signs a $100 Million Contract this summer. Less than a month into the season he's getting benched for missing team meetings and the Devils are last place in the East. Looks like there's trouble in Jersey.
Yeah things are very weird out there with the Devils. Not even a full rooster, don't know if they can keep up all season with 3 lines. I think that's an awful idea. Just let the refs video review questionable goals. The rest doesn't need to be reviewed. It would just slow down the game. In other news have you guys heard of the new idea for the All-Star Game? They want to have two Captains picked, and those two Captains get to Draft their own teams from the players that were selected to be at the All-Star Game. Could make things interesting for a game that has lost a lot of it's luster over the past few years.

Bobvrosky is looking like the real deal so far. It's still early so I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm hoping the Hextall curse has finally been lifted.
