Granted, he's one of the best goaltenders of all time, and he can stand on his head when needed, but I'm one of the first to admit without the Devils defense from 94 - 06, he wouldn't be where he is now.

The Flyers are losing 4-1 right now. I wish we had a great goalie. :(

    You want Mannie Fernandez?

Oh wait, you said great goalie, not shit goalie.

That guy has to be the biggest waste of money the Bruins have spent in a long time. The Bruins did fine without him last year, and this year would have been fine with Thomas and Rask.

With the Panthers beating Atlanta lastnight in overtime, I believe David Booth will score 30 goals this season. I'm glad Defenseman Bryan McCabe is listed day to day.

I just saw this thread. Sabres are the local team here but I like the Sharks and there off to 3-0.

    Not to mention a great defense… :p

It's nice to see Gagné in good shape though. 3rd goal on his 2nd game, the Flyers will need him to put the puck in the net if Biron is going to let in 4 goals per game.

I still had fun. I can't help it if the Devils have no defense, and an impotent offense.

    Had GREAT seats though!

    Warning! Crappy Cell Phone pic!

It is sad that the Rangers can't seem to sell out the arena anymore though :(  It's freaking NYC!

I was shocked that 19 yr-old Alexei Cherepanov died of a heart attack. He was drafted 17th overall in the 2007 NHL draft by the NY Rangers.

That reminds me of what happened back in the 90's when 16 yr-old Kevin Lindros, cousin of Eric, collasped from a heart attack at school.

The Flyers just traded for Andrew Alberts a defenseman from the Bruins. Hopefully that will help alittle. :lol

Yeah, no clue why the Bruins ditched Alberts, he was pretty solid...my guess is they just have too many defensemen that are pretty decent. Although you wouldn't know it by watching the couple of games they've played this year.

A real tragedy. Given his talent that kid could be something special in the NHL. I'd love to see him playing for the Rangers. My condolesces to his family.
