Yeah I think the leak was 100% true, but from a test screening. It’s possible many things have changed since that screening, especially since Vieweranon said his sources told him the movie was pretty good. That’s why test screenings are a thing. To make changes before the final cut

Like guys, come on. We've been asking for a trailer for soooooo long. They might've had it planned to come out in Janaury or February, but because of the delay maybe they decided to bring it forward. Just give the movie a god damn chance.

 

I have a feeling that steven caple was much easier to convince than travis knight. I know this is a alex jones level conspiracy theory but I think that scourge is bayverse OP might be viable. I have a feeling they're legit gonna create a timeloop to destroy that timeline.

The bright side is, whether the movie is good or dogshit, we're gonna get really cool toys out of it. Third party, masterpiece, Studio Series, can't wait.

 

It's always a bad sign when a movie has 5 writers. And the main one is the guy who wrote King Arthur and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I don't wanna go all nerd nitpicky on this cause the trailer looks fun, but I dunno, something about the Optimus design here doesn't look as good as his design in Bumblebee.

Like, the proportions just don't look as heroic.

He also doesn't have the Bayverse kibble from the promo artwork but we see him with the Bayverse Energon blades, he's got a retractable faceplate now, and has those Bayformers-esque eyes. Hm.

He also has the little lights on his knees from the very first concept art of Bumblebee Prime, interesting.

 

I've been following this sort of stuff for years. Trust me when I tell you, test screening scores, whether good or bad, should never be taken at face value. Never.

Interesting find! I didn't notice that the first time around. I'll always stand by this, and I know I am still in the minority, but I have always enjoyed mute Bee. It makes him unique in his speech, and can make for some potentially cute and adorable moments imo

 

Hoped the Maximals wouldn't be as large but after Kingdom, I should have known better. Designs are meh. Not a fan of what they did to Optimus especially.
