I love that Mirage can make copies of himself, Transformers having their own unique powers needs to be more common imo

yeah the CGI looks pretty wonky. I am sure they will clean it up by the time June rolls around.

 

Okay, so...The trailer looks cool. Nearly 100% bot focused was nice to see as well. Obviously humans are there but this wasn't framed as driven human drama, this looks like a bot driven story through and through from the trailer. Buuuut...The movies have burned me before with cool trailers, only for the movie to be so-so at best. Bumblebee managed to live up to the hype, but I worry this one won't.

That said, I like the look of the Maximals, I liked that scene Mirage driving backwards and just transforming to turn around before deploying his holo-decoys. Arcee's face actually looks pretty good, mechanical enough to be clearly robotic up close but it looks like a solid G1 face from a distance. Also I did not expect the Maximals to be so MASSIVE. I'm just used to the idea of the Maximals and Predacons being smaller than the Autobots and Decepticons, it's really jarring to see them match the size of the classic bots (though nothing new, I suppose).

 

I don’t unfortunately I should have saved it. But it was pretty much his vw front on his chest, the door wings being kinda G1 like. And having a normal face with glasses I think. The shape of the head was (not exact) but kinda like a WW2 fighter pilot helmet.

TBH the CGI looks exatly like in our Fan film "Rise Of Unicron"

 

How cool is that! The graphics will be improved in the future, but it looks very interesting.

The way they all interact with the lighting does look a little weird to my eye, but it is by no means bad.

 

Also did they straight up show Bee's death? And he doesn't appear to be present in the shot of the Autobots walking in that foreign country
