That's a fair point. Although I feel like there's a big difference between geek culture in 2009 and geek culture in 2022. Nowadays people get furious if even the smallest thing is ruined. I really don't see Paramount just announcing character deaths nowadays.

Agreed, I don’t see them or Hasbro allowing that. Especially since the Peru team was in talks with Hasbro not Paramount. Also that’s a big one, thing’s have changed geek culture wise on the internet. There are more on it and also in general word travels faster now with more to see it.

Would Hasbro even know such details about the film?

Yes, they would since they own the property, however, they're not going to share these details with folks widely, especially things like character deaths when that has nothing to do with toy distribution.

Moy is partially trolling, but also partially correct.

Wheeljack, Mirage and Nightbird are believed to be part of the first set of releases, all supposedly releasing at the same time, potentially sharing a wave/assortment. In which case those would be the most logical to leak next. This is partially based on a retailer list I believe and has been reported upon by a few youtubers speculating on the next toy leaks. Ofcourse it does not gaurantee that we'll see those next.

Pretty much what @Music said, they would since it's their IP and characters. Also just they need to in order to make toys.
That as well, character deaths would not be shared to anyone officially outside Paramount or Hasbro since that like you said has nothing to do with toys, or toy distribution. Along with it could effect sales of the character if people just know they're gonna die or die quickly.

Ah I get what he's saying now if that's what they're talking about. But the listings for that toyline have disappeared now (the wave was Wheeljack, Airazor Mirage, Nightbird, and Bee). It's speculated that those toys got moved over to SS.

I believe it got some publicity recently after this video (3:26) in which 'The Fire Brothers' speculates in order that we'll see Mirage, Nightbird and Wheeljack due to the retail listing associating them with Airazor. Presumably they missed Bumblebee from that line-up, but yeah, seems to be the source for the recent speculation.

True but the problem is those listings since we found them in December of 2021 has disappeared. So I doubt they'll leak next unless they are still coming of course. If Airazor is SS, we'll either see Bumblebee or the other two voyagers or even maybe Primal.

They should have put Bumblebee in the second wave of Studio Series, and Mirage or Wheeljack in the first wave of Studio Series next year.

I mean come on, SS 2023 Wave 1 ALREADY has a Bumblebee (the WFC game one). Two Bumblebees in Wave 1 just feels... I dunno how to describe it. Mirage, Wheeljack, Nightbird or Arcee should have taken up that space instead of ROTB Bee, honestly.
Hopefully there's some wave-changing going on behind the scenes soon.

I knew we had an idea of what figures would be released next year, didn't realise we had a full wave breakdown already. It does seem a bit overkill even for Hasbro to put two Bumblebees in one wave, though WWII and Clunker Bees were in the same wave.

None yet and I just know people will freak out that the film sucks or is in trouble just cause it has some reshoots like every other film does.

Wave 1 release early on in 2023 so it makes sense to release him over the other characters you've listed. The other characters aren't going to popular until the film is out (or when more marketing is available).

From what we've seen it all seems to be early scenes set in the city. I know Tobe Nwigwe has been given some extra screen time, but it's probably mostly extra or alternative shots rather than entire scenes or anything. Still, people will make a song and dance about the slightest thing.
