I bought Pretty Boy and Zero for custom reasons and while at this point I wish I had waited, I feel like paying an extra $25 for the only 2 figures I wanted from this set equates to driving around to every Ross near me in 100F heat on the off chance I'll find one lol.

Gamestop has a reissue of Xavier in hover chair. Where in the world did that come from?

Here's preternia's tweet about it because Gamestop's search function sucks:

GameStop probably just jumped the gun a bit.

Anything that has value, Hasbro is reissuing in order to make money quickly.

Still it’s nice for people that missed out on those figures originally.
the could release a few bafs with updated deco or accessories as deluxe figures.

Crossing fingers a TRU Jubes wave Storm and an Iron Monger re-release are on their short list.

Yea, I’m all for it! More people can fill out their collections the better.

Honestly, I hope Hasbro just has a redo for those two. They could do both much, much better and I’d love to upgrade Iron Monger.

Keep hoping Select gets to him eventually.

I haven't been paying close attention to the most recent Marvel Legends releases, so forgive me if this has been addressed, but is the Model 09/Neo-Classic a slight retool of Hasbro's first version, or is it a proper 2.0? It looks beautiful but that first one suuuuuuuuuuucked for posing.

I’m not sure there’s anything left that I’d want a straight re-release of. I guess chameleon that came with the Jamison and Hammerhead heads, but I really just need a chamaeleon head and could put that on any suited body. So I don’t care if that happens as a rerelease or a new version. Most other figures I want that I missed I would just prefer new versions of at this point, like Byrne Cyclops and Anhilus. (I’m about to give up on the latter and just buy the Marvel Select version). However I’m happy for the people that do want something rereleased to finally get it.

Chameleon is such a slam dunk for the Animated box sets I’m shocked it still hasn’t happened. Like Doctor Octopus, he had a very distinctive look mostly just for that show if I remember right.

Include a lighter blue recolor of the recent Nick Fury and include a head with the eyepatch flipped to the right side and you could have a double chameleon set

It's mostly new, I think just the upper legs and hands are reuse from the 80th Iron Man. It doesn't share anything at all with the first Hsbro version of the armor. All modern engineering.

I'm crossing my fingers that they do a second Neo armor that uses the thinner boots and the shinier colors that match with the other Iron Man suits that have been released in the line.

Also I don't understand why they went with the crummy bendy tab shoulder pads design instead of the more advanced shoulder pads that they used on the silver Centurion armor.

Everything about this figure from paint to sculpt feels like a step backwards. It's the last figure I need in my Iron Man wishlist and they're blowing it

The silver centurion armor shoulder insert only had to rotate around with the arm, it didn’t need to raise up

    IMG_0599.jpeg

The mark 9 shoulder piece needs to rotate and rises with the arm

Got Iron Man model 20. This is a worthy successor to the old Toy Biz figure. While that one was very detailed even for it’s fine, proportions were off. Sculpt-wise, this new figure is far superior. This is 1 of only a handful of Legends Iron Man figures to incorporate butterfly joints and cleanly at that(couldn’t tell from the initial shots). The very 1st Marvel Legends Iron Man from Toy Biz had butterfly joints too but were way more obvious and gappy.

This figure isn’t perfect. The ankles have minimal range of motion, it’s similar to the model 09 in the same wave. You get a diaphragm ball joint instead of an ab crunch and it did feel a little stuck initially(freed up after leaving it in a hot car). Due to this, while a superhero landing pose(popularized by how Adi Granov drew Iron Man on comic covers before it became popular in the movies) is tricky to replicate; you’ll need to pivot the hips outward all the way then rotate them so that the socket faces upwards. The knees don’t bend as far back as much. The open hands for the repulsor blasts don’t pivot backwards as much either so using the blast effect parts with them looks weird(maybe the fixed pose route also used on the model 09 from this wave would’ve been better). Shoulder pads have a tendency to unpeg from the front when the arm is rotated up due to minimal clearance. The fins on the back are molded in a flexible plastic to avoid snapping, you may or may not like this.

Paint and plastic color matches are pretty close. The knees are pinless from the top but not from the bottom, I think this was done to mirror the look of rivets on the armor. There’s a swivel directly above the foot that’s hidden by the lower leg.

Overall the figure is a looker and a highlight of this wave. An ab crunch, better knee range and fixed pose repulsor blast hands would’ve made it better.

Proper 2.0 but JRJR style with the boots being substantially thicker and tapering towards the top. A more streamlined Layton style with tapering towards the bottom is probably inevitable now.
