Most of the newer figures are sold out not with the sale. They get removed from search results when they sell out sometimes.

The filter has a checkbox to include sold out items. Whether it actually works or not I couldn't tell you.

Yeah, it's not the best site for finding stuff they actually sell sometimes lol. At least I know the app isn't.

I ordered an extra tombstone thinking I would use it for a custom at some point. I havent opened the one I found in store a while back but I see the head appears to be one piece with the neck. That throws a wrench in things.

Yeah…I felt exactly the same…so disappointed that we got no Conan figure when he reappeared at Marvel again.

Oh? Then tell me how it works? Because my sources who deal with China factories (for different toy lines) tell me otherwise.

…and are you telling me that Disney would allow Hasbro to say, release a character from another comic company to be placed in the ML line that has Disney owed characters?

Nope, you aren’t. You are pretty chill! :)

I would be considered ‘insufferable’ for my tastes such as more comic book characters etc.

I feel like you have made a leap thinking everyone else meant Hasbro would get the Conan license and then call it a Marvel figure rather than a Conan figure. And similarly yeah I do not think there is a great corellation between giving your comic license to one company meaning you will give your toy license to... not even that same company just a second company that happens to make figures for the company you gave the comic license to for a moment.

No, no one is saying Disney would allow Hasbro to put whatever they wanted into Marvel Legends? But Disney is not stopping Lego or Fortnite or Funko from seeing other people either.

Yeah, I just don't understand the thinking behind having the head and neck be one piece. Surely they could have still made them separate pieces and had them be detachable from the body? NECA does it all of the time.

Good assumptions but just assumptions on your part on how I think.

The point I was making that it was a missed opportunity on the part of both Hasbro and Disney to put out a Conan figure (where better then) in the ML line. The Conan is comic book based and appearing in a Marvel title. Why on earth would Hasbro start a standalone Conan line? The rights would be for Marvel Conan.

From there we could potentially have more Marvel Conan characters if the contract allows.

I seriously doubt Disney won’t help Hasbro in negotiations for a Conan figure deal. If not, then what’s the point of ‘business connections’?

Your example of Disney not stopping other companies? Have you ever heard of the term ‘master licence’? Well, in the past Hasbro has also received directives from Disney not to release certain figures. Example, Slave Leia.

Disney stopping Fortnite and Lego? At this point in time, the mouse needs them more than they need Disney.

Star Wars licensor determining what is done with Star Wars license is exactly the same thing as Star Wars licensor determining what is done with Flash Gordon

I feel like that alone is enough reason for me to step away from this

Soft goods cape on Doom, Taskmaster looks pinless as far as I can tell, and Norman looks pretty cool as well

That Doom is one of the best ones they’ve put out, and the original release goes for a pretty penny on the aftermarket so I’m glad they’re putting him out again. That Doombot head is also a nice touch for anyone who already has that OG Doom.

Taskmaster is also looking great. Between the pinless limbs, new head, and the accessories it seems like a solid upgrade to the old one, especially as it has been a few years since it came out.

Iron Patriot came out well, even if he’s the one I’m least interested in.

Overall I might be in for this set. Doom and TM are characters I’d quite like to have, and Iron patriot I can deal with having.
