Yeah, they're both pretty expensive on the aftermarket.

So, any tips for getting the butterfly joints back in? Lol. They came out with the rest of the arm, but I can't seem to get them to pop back in :(

Yeah, I had that issue too. The best I could come up with was to shave down the pegs for the butterflies ever so much and then heat them and try to pry the back in with a small screwdriver.

I can't believe how hard they are to get back in, based on how easily they came out!

Yeah it's weird. I was tempted to crack the torso to put them back but I'm not very good at cracking torsos so I decided to just try and jam it back in. Luckily only one actually popped out so I only have one wonky one now. Honestly you could probably even superglue them back in place, the coat covers them and the butterflies aren't terribly useful under it anyway.

Is the torso just glued together? I might be tempted to try that.

Yes but in my experience it's really hit or miss how well it's going to split. You have to hit it in exactly the right spot. If you can do it safely, it's probably the best thing to do to get those butterflies back in though.

Got the 5-pack with Stryfe and Zero today and now I really want more Mutant Liberation Front members. Reaper, Forearm, Wildside, Tempo and even a Reignfire would be awesome.

Or some Marauders members to pose alongside Vertigo? Or finishing off the Reavers?

Or... Now hear me out, making my most wanted X-Men bad guy team, the Acolytes! Why has Exodus not been made yet? Where is Fabian Cortez? Amelia Voght? Scanner? Frenzy? Colossus in the Acolytes uniform? Senyaka is a badass looking design who got a figure in the Toybiz 5" line. Imagine getting a Kleinstock brothers figure with half a dude coming out of his brothers chest or back. We can get a Spymaster and the Orb, but not one small iota of a wiff of any of the Acolytes? It's close to criminal (not really, but COME ON! The Orb???).

Kleinstock brothers and Senyaka for reference.

I just.... Man, I just really want some Acolytes....

I don't have this figure (or any ML figure with a butterfly that's popped) but based on my experience with GI Joe Classified, you should be able to soak the part in hot water (180f, near-boiling but not boiling) for 10s and that thing should be pliant enough to pop back into the body without shearing off the top pin.

Just used my Target Circle rewards and a $5 gift card to get Retr Dark Phoenix off Target's site for next to nothing ($6 total after tax :lol  ). Can't beat that. And here I thought I'd missed out on her because I procrastinated so long getting her. :lol

Added Sandman and Venom to the Raimi display.

Also did a fun little random custom of what I'd like to see for Jake Lockley's version of the Moon Knight suit in the show. The black and white armored suit is my favorite look for MK from the comics so I'd love to see it adapted to live action in season 2.

I tried that but unfortunately, for whatever reason, the peg will not pop back down in, no matter how maleable it is. I just might need to trim it a bit like Joshb721 suggested.

tooling costs probably...not much use for pre-adolescent figures (though they could reuse as younger Franklin & Valeria, or other older babies of various other characters)

What's the recipe on the Venom custom?
