I think new Blob looks like cartoon Blob, which is kinda the point of these VHS releases. Unrelated, Guardians Vol. 3 figures are in stores now. I found all 7 figures at a Walmart this morning but only picked up Adam Warlock for the "not-terribly-interested-right-now-but-I'll-probably-kick-myself-two-months-from-now-if-I-don't-get-him-now" factor. I did want to get the rest, but I'm already pushing my budget this week with other purchases. Plus, I'm having a hard time justifying buying the same characters yet again when they're all in identical suits. I know they're new sculpts, but my brain just sees 5 of the same figure, each with a different head. To that end, I could also say this is basically another Vision figure with hair. There I've talked myself out of buying him after I've already bought him.
Cheers, guess I'll stump up and jump on the Amazon.Com site. Murphy's law it'll be on the .UK or .EU site the next day after it ships!
I've been pretty selective about any future Marvel Legends figures and looking for the odd sale to pick things up. But I haven't seen many of the upcoming waves at big retailers yet. (release dates per Amazon) Spiderverse2 - April 10 Quantumania Wave - August 1 Gaurdians 3 /Cosmo Wave - on Target.com but not stores, already out on Amazon? Puff Adder Wave -June 1 Ch'od Wave - July 1 Spiderman Retro Wave -August 1 They are all up for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse, but not Walmart or Target. It gets confusing since seemingly half these figures already have in-hand reviews on YouTube somehow. Makes me wonder if I've missed those "damaged packaging" sales or clearance sales. Are Walmart and Target just moving away from toy pre-ordres and leaving us to hunt for them on the shelves? Pulse only has a 30% off sale once or twice a year and these waves are all too new for that last warehouse clearance sale. Target is having one of those $25 off $100 sales next week which is how I got most of the X-men Retro wave earlier this year (which never seemed to materialize in brick and mortar stores near me). Edit to add the Across the Spiderverse wave
Thanks. Since AF15 Spiderman seems to be pretty much sold out online, I'll hit a couple targets and hope for the best
It's not. Walmart just seems to have gotten it early. Official release date is the 10th so other stores should start getting them around then
Here's a weird QC issue. The right gripping hand on my Animated Iron Man has an undersized peg that results in it falling right out of the socket. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm debating opening a ticket with Hasbro customer support, but maybe its not worth the effort. Im hoping I could just fix this with a few layers of nail polish:
I mean, you can get that Venom (in theory), that Spider-Man (with a darker shade of blue), and the Hasbro basketball hoop set that was photoshopped from. The only thing really unobtainable there are the basketball hands. I'd still buy it. Because I missed that Venom and I do want a lighter blue Spidey and that "enhanced" basketball hoop looks awesome.
Set up another detolf to more or less finish off my comic collection. I'm going to pick up one more for Galactus eventually.
