I found Zombie Witch, Great Intelligence Loki, and He Who Shall Be Arrested today at Target for $7 a piece, so I grabbed one of each to donate to Toys for Tots this Dec. They also had Red Skull, but they wanted $13 for him for some reason. No luck on Howard the Duck or Woo though. In fact, I have NEVER seen those two in any store period.
Found him and Punk at a walmart. Don't want to talk about how much money worth of gas it took to find them but hey at least Punk rang up for $19 instead of $25.
He who shall be arrested..now that's funny. Ironically, Howard and Woo are the only ones I've seen up here. For the briefest of seconds,I almost picked up the duck Luckily I'm easily distracted and saw something shiny and walked away..
Starlord:'GAH! He's crushing my gizzard here!' Mantis:'Sleeeeeeeeeeeep..' Rocket:'It's one freaking planet! Let him eat it! Do you know how many of these things there are in the galaxy? TOO MANY.' The Frickin' Guardians of the Galaxy by Wes, on Flickr
It's a seriously massive upgrade from my "content-with, because-I-am-sick-of-Hasbro-pinching-me-for-money" love triangle 3-pack Cyclops with bomber jacket!
Man...seeing Random behind Cyclops there...Last time he got a figure was when he was brought into the comics in the 90s. I recall his contribution to the "X-Lore" basically being a sometimes enemy/sometimes sorta friendly member of X-Factor. I do wish the figure had an alternate arm without the cone cannon, but I can live with it whenever I buy the box set.
Wasn't he retconned to be some kid pretending to be a big bounty hunter, or was that retcon retconned?
Caved and got Bonebreaker off eBay... Figured since I was in deep now with Pretty Boy, it would all be in vain if I didn't just keep going, lol. Missing Lady Deathstrike and not sure what to do with the Reese head, but I figured the remaining Reavers (and a Reese redo?) are inevitable, even if it takes Hasbro like ~five or more years, lol.
