Thanks. They’re actually the wings from the all new x men 5 pack. Hence why they kinda small and have no articulation. This pack minus charles^ Those wings are just a placeholder though since I’m planning on using the wings that came with the legends of tomorrow hawkman figure and painting that white. Gotta also change the slot into a 5mm port.
With the recent Target clearances allowing me to get some pieces a bit cheaper I decided to finally go in on building Ultron Infinity. Pretty good figure of a pretty great design, I only wish he had some alternate fists and an alternate unmasked head. I also wish I didn't have to buy a trash figure like Sharon Carter (and Ms. Marvel to a lesser extent), but I ended up liking Kate Bishop a lot more than I was expecting so it kinda evened out.
I keep seeing people say those are on clearance, but mine are still full price at every store. What's wrong with the Ms Marvel figure? Is she not an improvement over the previous one?
Each Target store will be different. Different prices and different timeline when they mark them down. I checked Tuesday night after @wheeljack01 made his post and nothing was on sale, but last night I went back and Kate Bishop/Hawkeye/Ms Marvel were all on sale for about $11. And She-Hulk was being clearanced for $19.74 which really isn't better than a lot of sales last year. 3 weeks ago I went around to a few stores and one already had MCU Namor tagged at $12 while all the other stores were still $24.99 and a finally grabbed a Speedball for $6.94 while the other two stores had him at $13.92. I think it is up to the local manager to mark these down and depending if they have the staff to actually tag the toys or updated their local computer. There isn't anything wrong with Ms Marvel, but it is time to clearance out the older wave and make room for the new. BAF completionists should be jumping on these figures now. All the Python Patrol BAT figures were also $11.74, but none to be found. I did spot a Black Series Moff Tarkin in the clearance pile that should have gone to salvage long, long, ago. The nice lady let me have him for $2.90.
A lot of people expect a better version to come out this year for Captain Marvel 2. One with extra hands, for instance.
I like your Target. The only figure I've seen clearances recently was Speedball. Blue Marvel is in the clearance section but he still rings up full price. But both my Targets have unmoving pegs full of She-Hulks, so hopefully it won't be long before she goes up for clearance. I've never seen Sharon in person however, so I'm keeping am eye out online for her.
Same with my local stores... and I've never seen Sharon Carter at any store. Just a TON of Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel figures. She Hulk and Kate were around for a little while, but have since disappeared.
Also we know there's a Ms Marvel figure coming in the Marvels wave. I'm interested to see what that looks like.
Just got back from Target and same here on the ML except She Hulk was 12 plus change and the only Namor wave clearanced was white panther. It's weird too because they had a Clint Hawkeye and he was still full price, you'd think they would discount a wave at a time.
It's an inverted color scheme with a lot more gold. Doesn't look at all homemade anymore. There are set photos.
That whole box set is outdated but I think warren suffers the worst in terms of headsculpt and solid unarticulated wings. Would love an update of this team in these costumes
Yeah, it really depends on who the cashier is and what mood they're in. Just last week, I bought a McFarlane DC (Starro Wave) Power Ring that didn't ring up. The cashier in electronics was cool and gave it to me for $6.98, which is the clearance price at other stores. I had the same thing happen when I bought Super Woman from that same Starro wave. The cashier was totally cool and gave it to me for $6.98. On the other end of the spectrum, I've had a cashier literally snatch a figure from my hand at the self-check because a price never came up. I tried to explain that it was clearanced at all stores, but she didn't care and said in a nasty tone, "Different stores have different prices." She took the figure to guest services and looked back at me with disdain and contempt like I ran over her dog. All I could do is chuckle and wish I had.
Got in my Target X-Men order of Avalanche, Spiral and Multiple Man today. Hoping to get the rest on discount eventually. Avalanche with Bandai Tamashi Nations Effect piece Spiral comparison with her earlier figure. I'll keep them both, one will go with Mojo and the other with Freedom Force (looking forward to the new Blob and hopefully we'll get Destiny): Six armed gals, sorry Sheeva from Mortal Kombat you didn't make the cut
