Just check my pre-order, changed from “delayed, check back later” to arriving “Jan 17” also. If it gets fulfilled, I will finally proceed with my backlog of Marvel Legends I want to buy. If it gets cancelled I will rage quit Marvel Legends indefinitely, lol.
Mondo would make sense to save for last because I'm not sure how many would realize he's missing, so of course it'll be Penance instead that's saved for last.
Please no. That baf is ancient and terrible. Absorbing Man needs a new figure desperately, but Hasbro did just release the Terrax baf again as part of a cheap money-grab two-pack so I guess any bit of sloppiness can go with comic figures.
That what makes guessing hard for me. Whenever I think Hasbro is above doing something, they immediately show they aren't. I was hoping Ch'od was gonna be a new mold to pretool for a new, desperately need Abomination... Instead they pull out an old BAF thats pushing 9 years old with new parts that are still inaccurate to the character.
Hasbro's juggling a lot of, umm, X-balls, in the air right now with various teams they've started but not yet completed and others they're starting to delve into, but I hope the early X-Factor bunch don't get lost in the shuffle. I really want a red/yellow X-Factor Jean. I'd like that as much as I want Jean's modern green costume. Retro Sandman gave me some hope that Absorbing Man could be re-done (maybe on the Omega Red upper body?) similar to how Sandman was re-done...but yeah, there's that Terrax that looms ominously (or less disappointingly, that modern Moon Knight re-release from the Vulture wave). On a backhandedly positive note, I did scoop up that Heralds two-pack after I finished my Christmas shopping and, in-hand, Terrax wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be. The hips are what they are, and his odd "did I just shart?" expression makes him look amusing to me instead of intimidating, but mine can actually hold his axe and he wasn't annoying to pose. That doesn't absolve Hasbro of the laziness there, but eh, at least my experience wasn't worse.
With mcfarlane giving us a really good looking dc kingdom come batman I was thinking if we will ever get an earth x wave ala age of apocalypse. I know it is very unlikely as it is much less popular than AoA and it is visually just a bunch of old dudes Regarless If it was a 7 figure wave ,my pick would be -cap america -black bolt -daredevil -venom -spiderman -thor -x51 -baf hullk I remember loving some earth x concept and execution (black bolt last action, last twist with galactus)but definitely less than kingdom come and it was getting too crazy with universe x and paradise x. Still I love some of the designs(especially daredevil and blackbolt) and would love to see some of them in figure format.
The new Spider-Man Noir trenchcoat would probably totally be used for an animated Morbius. I think it would be better to do the X-Factor team as a box set.
Still waiting for a Hulk in purple trunks. Classic Doc Sampson and Abomination would be sweet. And armored Thor from the end of the Simonson run along with classic Beta Ray Bill.
*Fun speculation* He Who Remains - must have observed every possible outcome as he pruned off timelines…so he basically observed every possible outcome…. With that said…. Him observing Devastator- attacking the ARK
