Here’s my most recent custom: Marvel Now Magneto. Cyclops’ Revolution team is now complete (or at least the main cast)

 

Cyclops: Magneto's our ally now
Citizen: But hasn't he killed like entire populations?
Cyclops: Yeah but he's all better now
Citizen: But they're all still dead!
Cyclops: On to other business.

What’s funny is that they always try to retcon things to take the blame away from the character. Jean was possessed by the phoenix, actually she was just resting in a cocoon under the sea the whole time. Magneto disguised as Xorn that destroyed NY was actually Xorn’s brother disguised as Magneto disguised as Xorn so Magneto wasn’t actually the one that destroy NY.

 

Modern X-writers aren't afraid of these points, so we shouldn't be either. Kieron Gillen tackled both over the space of a year or so, in UXM V.2 #1.

I started re-reading Generation X to get me excited for the Chamber and M figures. I won a $100 Amazon gift card from the office Christmas party so I think I'll use that to buy 4 of the figures I don't already have on pre order and then just buy Fang to complete Ch'od. It seems like Hasbro is clearly starting new teams and I expect to see the rest of Gen X slowly roll out in the next few years. Who do you think will be the last one they do? Penance or Mondo? Lol. Penance fits the current theme of doing the unusually shaped female figure last (Rachel in spikes costume, Woflsbane, Feral) but Mondo just sems like a hard one to capture well and is the most obscure of the group, IMO.
