Your point? Because my point is that he did indeed have the small glider in the old toon and it's ludicrous to expect the larger glider to be included with a $20ish figure.
I was just pointing out the larger glider was shoehorned into the cartoon because of the toy like a lot of other cartoons would do of course. "We made this toy, so put it into the cartoon!" The original TMNT cartoon really comes to mind with that.
But again, he still had the smaller glider in the cartoon and the Retro carded release was a $20ish figure. Saying the glider should have been the bigger one is forgetting this wasn't a deluxe release. A deluxe release with both gliders would have been pretty awesome, but it's not like he only ever used the big glider in the 90s toon.
And it all got started because someone claimed the glider should have been larger even though he more commonly used the smaller one
Amazon moved my Gorr preorder up to an ETA of the 12th-13th, so maybe some folks will start getting theirs end of next week?
Just me rambling: Remember when Hasbro decided to include not less than 5 pairs of hand with their Demo-Goblin Shang-Chi release? Why was that the exception and not made to the standard? I believe at this point we are beyond figures having one or two pairs of hands or getting stuck with unmatched hands per figure. The minimum should be fists, relaxed and grabbing hands and then include hands unique to that character like trigger hands for gun welding characters, or leaders/commanders coming with pointing hands. Spider-Man and all his web-slinging wall-crawling friends should have fists, wall crawlers, thwipers, and line grabbing hands like the Amazing Fantasy 15 release.
Some hands oike Spiderman or Speedball have intricate patterns that make them more costly. Shang chi hands have no paint on them at all and so are very cheap and easy to produce.
Also being a martial artist, having different hands to use in posing him counts as displaying his ability
Just received a email notification from Pulse letting me know that Heralds of Galactus will be shipping soon.
Hit two Walmart’s yesterday and no animated spider-man. Got up early to get my oil changed and hit one a bit farther out - they had the display but spider-man be gone. Not sure why they put so few per display. I still have my online order but was hoping to secure one to avoid any possible shenanigans
In the past Walmart has re-stocked their exclusives after release. So hoping that stays true for this figure.
I like Mojo Dazzler way more than I expected to. I'm pretty committed to using Retro Dazzler on my shelf because of her X-Men Arcade appearance, but damn, if Mojo Dazzler isn't a superior figure. Hasbro, give me an Outback Colossus and another Nightcrawler, and I can do an X-Men Arcade display and put Mojo Dazzler into my 70-80s X-Men display.
