It's made it half way in 5 days. There's still plenty of time to hit all the tiers, including the early bird unlock. In other news, made my civilian Cindy Moon today. Had a bit of trouble when one of the shoulder joints popped out of the arm when taking them off Captain Marvel, but overall not a difficult piece to cobble together. Should be able to make both Gwen and Miles before the end of the week.
The early bird... I dunno. I don't see that happening to be honest. I would like to be wrong, or for Hasbro to say we are 'close enough' Maybe dump in some orders from other regions that we can't see.
Got a bunch of those emails from Target. Got one for Spiderman Noir, and all the Spiderman anniversary figures (Ned 2 pack, Iron Spider, Fantastic Foundation suit) and one for M'Baka whom I saw in stores in July.
I get why they're going with a more modern take on Mephisto, makes sense, modern Ghost Rider. But this is the Mephisto I grew up with in the 80s and 90s So maybe something a little more like this for me..
I'm actually surprised they didn't drop a pink version of the head in so you can do either look. The number of people who are likely to be drawn in because of Mephisto would surely make it worth it.
Yeah, that does look better with the pink face specifically, IMO. I think it's possible we'll get an Infinity Gauntlet box set with him colored more like this, the Thanos we got last year, and probably Death and/or Nebula in 2026 for the 35th anniversary. Maybe with Thanos' throne also.

I'm very much interested in mephisto for including him in my planned Galactus display (confrontation in silver surfer: judgement day) but not interested in general with any of the ghost riders or ghost rider adjacent characters (having purchased cosmic ghost rider strictly because he was a former herald in an alternate reality). May just have to go through secondary market for mephisto.
Why part of me want for this not to get made? Maybe to put stop on Hasbro for going greedy? I prefer a Haslab on something BIGGER to warrant the price tag. They can make a HasLab Giant Apocalypse with 4 horsemen or Punisher with a Fully Functional BATTLE VAN with his buddy Microchip.
isn't he a target exclusive? that 12K level for Mephisto seems a bit daunting...sure they have until halloween to get that high (and higher if any of the other tiers are to be cleared) but I think it'll boil down to whether people bite on the regular Robbie... could it end without any other tiers being backed? if people aren't willing to back to get a freebie by Friday, why would they wait until much later in the campaign when nothing is guaranteed?
wonder if the response would be different if ONLY the backers by the first week got the Robbie if their intent was to get this fully backed within a week...
