Guess how I felt importing the Worlds Collide set just for Fangry. Inner Demons are just what Mr Negative's henchmen in the game are called.
Hmmm, that's cool, but not $50 cool. I'd pick it up for $30 since they're both outdated bodies. Like seriously, this would have been the perfect opportunity to bring a new suited body without pins. Mr Negative should have been given the ultimate treatment at the new prices. I've got some other suited bodies that would go great with those masked heads. A shame he doesn't included unmasked goon heads though. Again, this is a $30-40 set cosplaying as a $50 one. Mr NEgative was heavily featured in the PS4 video game.
Mr. Negative is a comic character, but a comparatively modern one. He was responsible for the genesis of Anti-Venom. The PS4 game was probably one of his most prominent showings, though.
Sometimes I’m happy to be out-of-touch with these iterations of pop-culture characters…helps to keep the collection a little more in check. My local GameStop is inundated with Star Wars Gaming Greats figures and I don’t have any idea who they are, fortunately.
I mean, compared to Silver Age stuff he's new-ish but he's still been around for a decade and a half already
$19.99 prices are gone and they are never coming back. Legends are $24.99 now. This is the cost of 2 legends. For that price we get 2 figures, plus 2 alternate heads, 2 alternate hands, 2 guns, 1 sword, 1 machette, 1 bat, 4 gun effects, and 3 laser power effects for Mr Negative. Pretty reasonable TBH. It will be fun seeing people's pictures of ML figures they repurpose into Negative's goons. I can already see tons of pictures of the Hood's body with one of those henchman masks on it.
Fortunately GS has sales usually once in awhile. So picking up multiples for troops is ok with me! Same body, so it should.
No, the Inner Demons are on the Logan body, but they should still fit, most ML heads are compatible between different molds.
Oh damn, dude, then you are missing out on the greatest comic book video game ever made. Go to your local store and buy Spider-man right now! Except they're 5-7 year told bodies being used. They're well before the new Legends pricing. New pricing should require new molds. Like nothing $25 or more ever better be on the Bucky Cap body. I look forward to it. No, they won't. They're on the Bruce Banner body from the Age of Ultron multi-pack that came out back in 2016.
I guess they did a good job conditioning me with those Spidey 60th sets because my initial thought was "an exclusive 2 pack for only $49.99? Cool!" I concur that that is a great game. It was the first full-length AAA game I platinumed, I believe. I'm not sure I want to get into collecting video game characters, though. I'm 40. My Legends collecting focus is 20th century comics. I don't even read Marvel anymore since they moved to constant company wide mega events and constant 12-24 month reboots. Arrived today. Thanks to the person who tipped us off to the listing in this thread.
I've been wanting to play the PS4 Spider-Man game for years (more of a PC/XBOX gamer) and I'll finally get the chance this fall! Glad it's getting released on Steam at long last. In the meantime, I've been playing Shattered Dimensions and really need to get a noir and 2099 spidey haha
I believe Mr Negative looks the same in the comics though. Most of my collection focus is on Silver Age and Bronze Age, though, I do make some exceptions for Spider-Man given he is my favorite super hero.
Wrong. Like Joshb721 correctly replied above you, it's the Logan body which is an entirely different upper half
Looks the same to me. At least, the shirt itself does. The arms are thicker, so I somewhat stand corrected.
I've been drawing my comics line at the end of the 20th century, though, and Mr. Negative is from 2008. He does look cool and I know him from the game, so I may pick him up anyway, especially if he goes on sale at some point. There's a vertical rectangle down the center of the goon's shirt that's not present on the other one. The belt buckle appears different as well.
If it's reuse of the Logan body, everything is different, the arms and legs are thicker, there's a swivel joint at the ankle and I believe there was a dumbbell in the neck instead of a hinge.
You're right, the Logan buck shares its lower half with Captain Marvel Movie Fury, not the old suit buck. So absolutely 0 parts share with Banner.
