Thanks all for the clarification. I FINALLY got a Ulik to cart just now, so pushed my order through for him and the Transformers. Now to wait for that order cancellation email (and backup plans) or to thread the needle and get mah shit (and the startled surprise months from now when I try and remember what the fuck I spent $100+ on at Walmart for when that charge hits). Suspense!

Funny thing, out of curiosity, I went back and checked my account and didn't see a charge matching the cost of Strange on my account around the 1st of this month when mine shipped out. I checked back further and found a charge on the order date (October of last year), but I noticed I paid with Paypal for Strange and not via my card, while Paypal wasn't even an option to pay for these preorders today (for me?). Weird.

 

I put in an order for Ulik. I don't have any attachment to the character at all, but he does look really nice. Eh, what the hell?

 

I really miss that $29.99 for large figures like Ulik. As it is I'll have to pass at that price.

It must already be at the warehouse then, because Ulik and Gung Ho are already holds on my account. I just hope they don't do the revolving, overlapping holds like Target does, but they probably do.

 

Walmart has always done a hold when I order from them, one that sometimes lasts weeks.

I don’t usually get those test charges from Walmart, but it’ll drop off in a few days (unless you used Paypal which usually charges immediately), and I’ve never heard of someone getting the recurring monthly charges from them. I don’t really understand why you’ve replied to me with a sarcastic tone when I was trying to help someone else, but I guess that’s just how it goes online

 

Wal-Mart does do a hold initially on preorders. How long that hold lasts is actually the fault of your financial institution because Wal-Mart releases the charge the same day they put it on. Also, they don't do the revolving charge thing that Target is known for.

 

I checked the walmart.com, Ulik can be preordered right now if anybody had trouble earlier this morning.

 

Saw on FB some people are finding Zemo in the wild. If anyone happens upon an extra, I’ll gladly pay cost plus shipping plus a little for your time!

I think the last one I saw someone offering to grab for others on these boards was Quasar. Don't remember who or what state they were located in though. I have seen a couple of Facebook posts from guys in Cali saying they've got Binary and Zemo in store, but nothing outside of that state so far in the circles I watch.

Yeah, they only put up store exclusives for stuff that they own like Power Rangers, GI Joe, and Transformers. I can only think of one Marvel Legends that went up on Pulse that was also exclusive to someone else and that was the X-Force three-pack that was also available on the Shop Disney website. Though I believe they said that one was a shared exclusive.

That said they do end up opening up a lot of the Walgreens exclusives to places like EE, BBTS, etc. months to a year after they were available at retail. They've done the same with many Transformers exclusives as well.

 

I broke down and went to order classic doctor strange from wm and uh.. I'd rather quit collecting than figure thier horrid site out.
