How’d they break? Might be good to sculpt it using Green Stuff(it’s like a clay you can find at hobby stores that sell board game miniatures), then paint it.
No clue, i pulled him out to mess with and the part that connects to the upper thigh had a slight break where it meets. So his legs were floppier than when i originally bought him.
I kinda wish we Kate had a pair of sunglasses, but I don't think she's going to have them in the show so that kind of makes sense. Definitely getting Renner to finally have a Hawkeye on my shelf. Will probably also get Kate because she's wonderful, but I imagine this isn't the last of her in Legends.
Was able to compete the AOA Colossus BAF wave today. Colossus unsurprisingly is the best figure in the wave to me. Bigger than previous Legends versions and I’ve always liked the AOA look. Inkwash would’ve brought out the scribed/raised details more but still looks great nonetheless. Legion is important since he kicked off the entire storyline by going back in time and accidentally killing his dad instead of Magneto. This one is more buff than he looked in the books back then. I think the lower body uses parts from Shang Chi? If so, no wonder you guys were all about it, it tends to pose well without needing drop down hips. The neck joint is a barbell and I’d prefer to see this style of neck joint used more going forward. Works especially for characters like Legion and Spider-Man. However I do wish Legion didn’t come with a BAF piece. Sabretooth is bigger than previous Legends versions but you’ll probably miss the double jointed elbows the older ones have. Hope new arms can be tooled for it in the future(since Hasbro will probably reuse this buck for other Sabretooths) in addition to butterfly hinges for the torso, deeper ab crunch and the pelvis retooled to enable the hips to raise beyond 90 degrees. Even when artists started drawing him freaking huge in the comics with muscles for days, he was still able to pose pretty well(maybe in ways that defied reality but who cares it’s comics and looks cool). This Sabretooth figure is as big as you’d probably want it but not as poseable as you’d probably want it to be(on par with the Sentry buck Sabretooths except for the elbows). I’d be interested in seeing a Sabretooth using a smoother version of the Legends movie Venom sculpt. Shadowcat is a figure I didn’t think I’d like much going by the renders. However in-hand it’s a lot better and it’s now 1 of my favorite figures from the wave(and out of all AOA Legends altogether). Only things I don’t like are the claws feeling a little flimsy, face and eyes could’ve used more paint and the diaphragm joint could use more range. The pinless joints work well for this and this also has a barbell neck joint. The pinless legs have more range than the 1st female pinless legs used on Storm last year, glad Hasbro was able to improve on that. Hoping to see more AOA Legends, I want to see a Weapon Omega and Nemesis/Holocaust.
I found Stealth Captain Carter today. Here's the Target link if needed (I didn't see it already in the thread) Marvel Legends Series Marvel's Captain Carter
Yeah it's amusing that they're calling it Retro instead of Gamerverse, when it's very clearly the PS4 version of the design (and a new mold specially for the purpose at that). But looks awesome anyway, however they want to package it!
I might regret it later, but I think I am going to sell off my Bastion and female Sentinels from my set. I could use the money.
