Hope we get more zombies seeing as how a fully-fledged Marvel Zombies show has just been announced.
I'd love to see comic Eternals, though I'd probably prefer their current costumes from the comics over their looks from the 70's. I'm thinking Terrax is most likely a sure thing this next year to prepare for Galactus. Rom would be cool, but probably will never happen in Marvel Legends. Hasbro owns Rom, but Marvel owns aspects of the old stories he appeared in. So I don't see that happening.
Classic Drax and Gamora should have been done by now. And a new Abomination would be great.
It's up on Amazon for under retail right now: Amazon.com: Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Black Panther Comic Figures Shuri & Klaw 6" Scale Figures Collector/Fan 2 Pack : Toys & Games
I got one just fine when the set was at TRU, but that's good to know for people who missed out.
I guess some new seasons of the 90's X-Men animated series got announced for D+ next year. That might be part of the reason why we're getting animated series anniversary ML figures next year too. I don't have any attachment to the cartoon, so I don't really care about the show or the figures, but it does make me wonder if it would be possible to get a revival of the Spectacular Spider-Man show and maybe some Legends to go with it eventually. The 20th anniversary isn't until 2028, but if they're able to, maybe we'll get something for the 15th anniversary in 2023.
I can dream lol.
Agreed with your post on the comic eternals…I read the old comics and found their origins interesting.
If I recall…Kirby didn’t had the intention for them to be in the 616 Marvel universe…that’s why the origins of humans, contradict the earlier Marvel stories of the “Sky Fathers”.
Ditto on a new Abomination…tbh I would consider my ML collection done if Hasbro release a new, bigger, better sculpted figure.
@Joshb721 : the Spectacular Spidey series that ended in a cliffhanger? Oh man, that was probably the best animated series of the Wen slinger to me.
Yep and there's a funny story about how Marvel mandated that he connect it to the 616 and put the Hulk in an issue. He did, but the Hulk was actually a robot that was being used by people making a Hulk movie based on the comic as the Marvel heroes only existed as comic characters in the Eternals universe.
That, obviously, is no longer the case.
misty knight wave
Might do a custom Agent Creed
I recall quite a lot of the Doctor Strange wave hanging around forever too.
I’d love a load more characters from the current x books - this is a great list. Monet would be high on mine, but I’d trade em all for a dedicated hellfire gala wave/box set! Dat Colossus...
Whaaaaaat that’s awesome
I swear that Amazon is just trolling me with the AoA wave.
Like with Cyclops, Sabertooth arrived without any notification of him being shipped out AND now that means the figure I need last is the one that comes with the body. Thus, I have Colossus' head, arms, and legs all sitting on my shelf wait for a body to attach to.
Also most of the Ant-Man wave. Before I got into MLs but was buying Transformers, I remember seeing some of the ASM2ish wave just sit and sit.
It never went out of stock. Has went down to $15, a couple of time.
Honestly I was never aware of it being available anywhere but TRU since it was their exclusive.
they will get Kitty to you soon enough, everyone is trying to build colossus and me being cheap only just finished Sugar man.
I was at Target today to pick up some groceries and went to the toy aisle for the heck of it, and they had the retro card Fantastic Four Thing and Human Torch figures on an endcap, so I've got all the Fantastic Four figures now.
I wish some place, online or local, would get the new Age of Apocalypse wave now, but the local stores are all full of Eternals figures...and online seems to be only getting one or two figures at a time here.
