The X-Force box isn't a Pulse exclusive, though. It's a Disney Store exclusive that was also up on Pulse.

Did this guy ever go up for preorder or release in the US? I feel like Hasbro announced him at the height of the show and haven’t heard anything about it since

Wow, that new Armored Spidey is GORGEOUS. Their recent sculpts are seriously approaching Figuarts-level detail & quality.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more new Spidey sculpts if this is the direction the line is heading, with lots of suit texture & sculpted detail (like this guy and PS5 Miles) instead of just repaints on plain bucks.

Speaking of repaints on plain bucks... the Ben Reilly suit is one of my favourite Spidey designs, but that repaint does nothing for me. I guess I'm just not a fan of the retro body (I prefer Spidey a bit more sleek, a bit less completely-ripped-bodybuilder).

But yeah, bring on a PS5 Peter with this new level of sculpt detail, Hasbro, and as many different comic suits as you like (a new dedicated 2099 mold some day would be a dream).

Honestly I gotta agree. I was already hyped for black suit Spidey when that was announced then when armored Spidey came up on the stream I was mad surprised at how well sculpted it was. Probably doesn't have any butterfly joints but the overall artwork of it makes up for that easily.

I'm still hoping to see a new body eventually that's as slim as the Pizza Spidey mold with the articulation of the Retro mold. Retro is based on Sunfire, and yeah, it's always seemed too buff for my preferred incarnation of Spidey. I'm sticking the Spider-Carnage head and hands on the new Ben Reilly suit, I think that buck fits Carnage more.

I’m in on the whole Spider-Man wave except Hobgoblin and maybe Hammerhead.

Loved seeing the reveals today. I'll be in for whole retro Spidey wave, even if I don't need that particular Hobgoblin. Looking forward to that Hammerhead though. Maybe they can use that suit body for the Owl? Leland Owlsley needs a figure.

Also, when do you think we will get a classic Drax the Destroyer? You think we could get him next year in a cosmic wave? I really want an Adam Warlock based on the Tom Lyle miniseries as well. A classic Gamora would be nice too.

He's just coming out and if the stores order him in any quantity he has peg warmer/clearance written all over him (similar to Happy). So I wouldn't count him out just yet if you have a Target nearby.

So do you think the Excalibur set will last it to non-premium members?

Just saw in my email that my sentinel has shipped. Supposed to be here on Friday. Can't wait to get the purple bundle of joy home.

Oh, it looks like the Armored Spidey is based on the PS4 version of that suit. So that's why it looks so modernized (and awesome).

Hopefully that's a good sign that there are more PS4/PS5 suits on the horizon.

Purely guessing, but I would guess Excalibur will last for non-premium members, but the Skrulls may go in and out of stock numerous times. Probably better to be a member if you want those.

I want them, but they're not as important to me as the Excalibur pack.

I hope it does. Excalibur is a team I really want to complete.
