What I meant is that Hasbro should have released the yellow or brown suit Wolverine first instead of the X-Force version. To put the more popular suit as an exclusive really is a bad move IMO. Did Hasbro explain the rational behind this move? IMO this line is Wolverine-centric and Logan is pretty popular character. Such a move would imply the line isn't doing well. Last time I checked, the ML line was doing pretty well. For example, Hasbro gave us the Dr.Doom, US Agent wave because US retailers requested it.
Well this isn't the first time they've done this. SDCC Bruticus? SDCC Sentinel? The thing about Wolverine though, is that he's so popular, Hasbro will probably give us another yellow/brown suit Wolvie after this. They have already in the MU line. Just a matter of time before the same in ML. This also isn't that bad actually - because as a Previews exclusive - he's actually widely available to a lot of online retailers and specialty stores - beats being a Walmart or Target exclusive or a Con exclusive.
Oh, you mean the Dr. Doom wave that I never saw in stores? This Marvel Legends line is even more frustrating to collect than the Marvel Universe line because they never get stocked. If it wasn't for Amazon, I'd probably totally stop collecting this line.
Yeah, good point on the SDCC Bruticus and the SDCC Sentinel. Thankfully for I managed to pick up 3 of them when they dumped by Hasbro at a local toy fair. Thank goodness I didn't find Bruticus appealing if not I would have a hard time hunting it down. The advantage for me if they were at retail was that I could examine the figures for their paint jobs and if the limb assembly was correct.
Hawkeye too. I hope somebody ships their loot soon so we can find out which versions are showing up first.
I saw the wave at retail in Taipei. They had the movie version Hawkeye and Jean was sporting her 'toon duds.
Darn it! how come all the good stuff is appearing in Taiwan or China? I was told that the red suit Deadpool was spotted over there too!
Cool, hopefully the toon costume Jean is the easy one to get then. Hate waiting for variants that never show lol
I want a red Deadpool too. Sucks this is the SECOND time he's getting released, and he's still pretty much impossible to obtain. Hasbro's gotta get their shit together when it comes to distribution. It's been getting worse and worse since 2008. I honestly think they're making too many products and should just spread things out more so they have a better shot at reaching retailers.
I recently bought the new Fantomex figure and found so thing weird with the paint on his jacket. I was posing him around outside when I noticed a neon-ish green tint on some parts of the jacket. But when I put it in the light on my IPad, the neon green disappears. Does anyone else have a problem with theirs'
I have a Scarlet Spideman and Black Panther on the way, so it is what it is for me as far as variants.
Crap. I don't want movie Hawkeye, and if the variants/running changes stay true to form, we'll never see comic Hawkeye or Bulldozer.
Anyone else's Thunderbolts set from hasbrotoyshop have damaged corners? I normally leave the SDCC in package, and both my Thunderbolts set and MU Deadpool Corps set has one somewhat crushed corner :/
If anyone is looking for a SDCC ML Thunderbolts set I have an extra one. Just looking for cost ($98) plus ship, PM me. SOLD
That Onslaught is one of the few BAFs that I don't have yet. He's not a top priority, but he does look pretty cool and I'd like to get him eventually.
I'd like to get Apocalypse next. Would like a Sentinel as well, but you can't just have one of those.
Odd question guys...for those that own the Marvel Legends Icons Hulk figure, does anyone know how much a loose figure weighs? Thanks in advance!
