I need to break the habit of repeatedly spending $20-30-50 here-and-there on small crappy figures before I can pull the trigger on $400 Galactus. :p o_O

I agree. Just looking at him in package & he seems undersized. I’ll have to dig out my 80th Iron Man & compare heights.

Ultron is a tiny bit taller than 80th Iron Man.

I went back and looked. I didn’t realize the original backer goal was only 6000 for the Sentinel. I’m Surprised this one is so high, they definitely aren’t going to reach that in 26 hours.

At 4,209 so far i assume it’s performing well against the Sentinel so far. It should hit 6000 in under 26 hours.

I'm actually wondering if the 14,000 was legit or if they just wanted to see how far they could get in the first day with it.

That is why it is not that much expensive compared to the sentinel
They are trying to balance it with more backers

this is going to be an expensive stretch, with multiple haslabs funding at the same time for Star Wars, Transformers and Marvel (that we know of at least)...

Hopefully, Galactus comes with a Firelord, so we can reenact Spiderman beating him down in the middle of the street.

Why would anyone want a troopbuilder packed with a $400 toy, though?

Granted Galactus is in the foreground in that shot so it adds slightly to the height discrepancy but, still.. he gon' be a big boi!

Haha, I was talking to my five year old daughter about Galactus and we were looking at how tall he is, so we got out the tape measure and he comes in just a tad taller than my 19 month old. He’s tall

Anyone who’s been collecting the comic iron man armors, how do you have them displayed? Anyone got a good armory?
    Movie armors?

I do. I have a specific list of the comic ones I want and I'm almost complete! :)

I tried doing the armory thing but never found a good method.

Disney makes a "Hall of Armor playset" that a lot of people like to use but IMO it barely fits MLs scale figures and doesn't fit War Machine at all unless you remove his accessories.

I'm mixed on if I want the heralds included with Galactus. On the one hand, I REALLY want more space characters and that'd help knock out a few more. On the other, while I'm fully intending to back this, for someone that isn't, I'd hate for Firelord or Frankie to be stuck as part of an expensive crowdfund figure.

I think ideally (to me) a bunch of the heralds (Surfer re-release, Terrax re-release/redo, Firelord, Frankie, either Morg or Air-Walker) are released as part of a companion box set next year (with any herald left out saved for a GotG Vol.3 or Captain Marvel wave), and those Punisher robots shown above or other easter eggish stuff saved for stretch goals.

I could see Frankie Raye/Nova being a tier add on because it's such a simple figure. Basic female buck painted gold - done!
